I think Sirrobert is correct. Since there is no end to the game. You kinda can't "win" it.

I don't think so, but will you please stop using "does" at the beginning of a question when it's not needed? Here, you would write "Is there a max level of reputation"

Give the guy a break. He's not an english speaker. KSP is a world game with people who speak a lot of different languages playing it. Who appointed you grammar corrector anyway?

And, to be honest, you can't get a full reputation bar ( atleast in 0.24 , so I assume the same applies to 0.25, since the devs said nothing on this issue ). The bar gets increasingly smaller increases per rep as you have more stored and you never get to a 100% filled bar. SO I see the OP statement as unlikely ...

OTOH it is sort of confirmed that, eventually, you will be able to lose the game in career due to rep below zero ...

This is an open ended, open world game. There is no such thing as victory

Fill every planet and Moon with Kerbal crafts where if you ever switch to them. You crash the game. That could be considered by some a victory But, I do agree we define our own victories.

Reputation gains decrease asymptotically as you approach 1000 rep, so doing something that early on would net +100 rep instead gives maybe +10. You can get ever closer to 1000 rep, but never actually reach or exceed it.

nope, now you can reach it at least, if you use the difficulty bar and max it, you start with 1000 rep and all rep things give 0.0.....

I wonder how reputation affect the game or how will be affect in future? (i can always convert it into science points with the most sensible solution)

I used Unpaid Research program and outsourced R&D policy i drooped the last one because i need cash too :D
