Parts being cloned in the part menu.

Problem: Stock parts in the part selection menu are being cloned.

Mods installed:

NEAR Aerodynamics 1.2.1

Universal Storage 0.9.1

Karbonite 0.4.2

KAS 0.4.9

DMagic Orbital science 0.8.6

All the stock parts in the VAB and SPH part selection screens are being cloned. This means that every stock part appears two, three, even four times in the part menu, while the mod parts are not being displayed more than once. Additionally, it shows that I have researched some of the stock parts a couple times in the science center.

The names of the part folders have been changed (to sort the parts more logically in the editor).

If you downloaded the new version and copied the contents over your old installation, you will have multiple parts now.

Try a complete fresh install.

I guess that can also be fixed by removing part.cfg from each part's folder in GameData/Squad/Parts, at least it helped me with duplicate launch clamp that was caused by some files left from KW Rocketry mod.

Had same issue, another solution is to go to

" Kerbal Space Program/GameData/Squad/ "

and delete the parts folder(or remove it from that directory atlest) then run the patcher.exe within the main folder. it will redownload only that section of the game correctly without a complete reinstall.
