I just came across an old 0.90 mod map i still had laying around, i reinstalled this CIT/active struts mod and i can confirm that it still works in a 1.0.5 version of the game! Everything still works with this setup... :D

This mod was taken down by its author, who gave limited permission to use it only as a part of Infernal Robotics Model Rework. See corresponding thread for an updated release.

I doubt it...marce took down all links to his/her work... Even though the license is pretty much open, I think picking up work/distribution on EXACT copies of marce's work may be a touchy subject... Now if someone were to start development on the ideas from scratch....That would be different...

Why would you need chopit when you have wonderful KAS/KIS?

So tell me please, can KAS/KIS allow to detach any part from ship by hands for some definite time?

As the author of this mod @marce has stated, development on this mod was closed several KSP versions ago.  Locking thread to prevent additional confusion.

Marce has handed over the mod to Infernal Robotics for caretaking.  Please see that mod's thread if you have any questions:
