How do you let your kerbals have fun?

Once in a while kerbals have to take a break I want to know how do you let them do this? Do you stop them from going on a rocket to their death or put on a huge party? big or small put it here. Thank you!

Well, normally I assume that the Astronaut Complex has a lot of fun things to do, and even then, the astronauts can go home when not on duty. So I don't really have to take care of my Kerbals' fun.

Ion Powered Rover Drag-Racing, or Infinigliding the Bridges. Both are fun, but often destructive.

Hill surfing on Minmus. Get a good running (flying) start, hit the ground to rag-doll a Kerbal, and then watch him slide and bounce all the way down to flats. Grinning gleefully all the time. FUN!

My Kerbals are too busy to have any fun. They spend all the time going through long checklists and doing exactly what CAPCOM tells them to do.

But returning home in one piece is a thing worth all the hassle.
