Freezing on Startup - Mod list stops moving

Recommended Posts

When I start up KSP (Modded version), when it is loading the mods, it freezes about halfway through but the startup comments still move. I have installed the B9 Aerospace packs with all the folders in gamedata. Whatever i do it just stop working. I use the 32bit version. Please Help!

Quite possible you exceeded memory limit, or anyway had a crash. Startup comments still change, even if the loader stopped. Best thing would be to upload and link your output_log.txt here (instructions here).

Thanks for the help! Hopefully this link works: https://www.dropbox.com/s/dytsad1mvyeo4fi/output_log.txt?dl=0

i have had this problem before.

step 1: wipe your gamedata folder (spare the squad folder)

step 2: redownload b9 from the spaceport.

if that doesn't work:

wipe ksp off your hard drive. redownload it from steam or wherever you got it.

then try steps 1 and 2 again.

EDIT: backup your saves! :D

You should reinstall KSP, to make sure you have all the original files. Then carefully install mods one by one, following their instructions, and report back if something breaks.

Note that if you're on a Mac, you need to *merge* when you put stuff in your KSP folder, as OS X by default will replace your existing GameData folder with the new one you're dragging...

Thanks for the help. I have done what you asked (btw I don't use a mac) and the b9 pack works now but whenever I put another mod in the same folder, it freezes again.
