FAR, simply because NEAR would be too easy and I enjoy watching my rockets explode, but stock souposphere would be too thick for 6.4x kerbol. (I already need 7500 m/s delta-v to get into orbit, WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT OF ME)

Also because I don't like making pancake rockets[citation needed]

Right now trying out a career on 6.4x kerbol and with FAR, but usually use stock aero for challenges.

Off topic: Norpo, do you know how to change the altitude ranges for contracts? I'm getting "Test blah on a sub-orbital trajectory from 70000 to 85000m" which is inside the atmosphere and therefore can't be completed.

I'll use FAR/NEAR when the stock planets become more realistically sized. That is, likely never. The stock aerodynamics work fine for the size of the celestial bodies we have in the game. Sure, there are a few things here and there that are a bit annoying, but for the most part, it's a non-issue. I think I'll look into the Stock Drag Fix thingy just to see what that's like, but right now, I'm content with the supposed 'soup-o-sphere'.

However, if RSS ever manages to improve surface terrain detail instead of leaving broad plains and slight inclines here and there, then maybe I'll get that along with NEAR.

Stock and FAR.

Stock mostly, because it's stock, and I like making designs that anybody can use independant of mods installed. FAR because it's just as abusable (yes, bricks can fly with FAR, probably more easily than in stock) and makes getting into space easier. Plus there's people who refuse to use anything else, so playing DMP with them means FAR or nothing.

I have tried FAR which works awesome, but i returned to KSP aerodynamics because i want to play like the game is meant to be played. However, i really miss the nice unguided throttle-controlled gravity turns that are possible in FAR, so my hope is with Squad.

Stock here.

Mainly because I've been burned on to many in development games with mods that stop getting updated. And I'm lazy I want my game to work always with out worrying if done mod hasn't caught up to the new update
