Well, Zodiak, you're not going to beat me to it.

But I am behind you if you want to make another MOG.

Yup, it's finally here.

(This is not the final version, don't worry:P)

Temporary shortcoming:

-Crafts currently have to be added manually: in the future, you will be able to button-press or type what you want to happen and the generator will auto-add crafts.

Please help me by:

-Notifying me of browsers with which it does not work (Known working: Chrome) (known broken: IE9, FF)

-Giving general feedback about how it works, flows, looks

-Bug reports

-Anything that wasn't very obvious and you needed to refer to the Help

-What I need to add and how urgent it is.

If you are a youtuber, it would be invaluable if I could see and hear you react to the generator and what you assume. (I'm looking at you, 5thHorseman)

Things I will/might add later:

-You will be able to button-press or type what you want to happen and the generator will auto-add crafts.

-"Export as image" button

-Better key text wrapping

-Tooltips

-Delta-v counter

-Save files

-"Are you sure you want to delete Untitled Space Craft?"

-"Are you sure you want to leave this page? Your Overview will be lost."

-Linear Mode

-Arrow control

-Chronlogical labels, textboxes, planet abbreviation label

Things I'm not sure I should add:

-Allow dragging of ascent/descent/orbit and change parent planet accordingly.

-Custom planet model and craft model images

-Background color / image

-Key background color

-Online gallery

-Ingame flight recorder

-Ingame Overview reader / GPS

So that's why my ears are warm :D

I only had about 1 mintue to check it out tonight, between my 2-hour live stream and going out for a late night with friends, but I couldn't see how to add a ship, planet, or otherwise. I was able to drag the arrow around which was cool.

I use adblock and javascript blocking, but I had it all set to allow everything so I'm not sure if it's me, my setup, or the site but something was up.

some critique: the interface is hard to use, and due to its non-visual nature is also hard to navigate. I have read through the help section, but am still befuddled. some kind of step-by-step tutorial could go a long way.

I clicked "Help" and it checked the checkbox next to the word "help." That wasn't much help :D

Although I see it now that I have more than 5 minutes to look (I went right from a 2-hour live stream to a 5-hour late-night Ingress session. Oh the harried life I lead). WHen you click "Help" a help section opens up well out of sight. I did not notice that first time the only indication of this, that the scrollbar on the right changed size.

I fiddled a little bit and to be frank, it's not intuitive enough. I created a Mun instance and it went on top of Kerbin. I could not drag it away until I dragged Kerbin away first. Now that I know the help section is there, I think I could refer to it on every step but after 3 or 4 steps I wouldn't want to any more. I instead tried to just figure out how to get my ship's path to just say it left Kerbin and orbited Mun, and after a few minutes gave up.

It has a few nice kernels. I like the drag/drop interface part, but all the stuff under that is just confusing. I don't know what would be better. :-/

The generator seems to work properly. The GUI is clunky, but usable. The biggest criticism I have right now is the fact that the Key likes to write words over each other. And that it does not seem to work in Firefox (Had to open up Chrome to get it to work). Here is the mission profile from my Jool-5 mission:

The Help menu is in the process of being replaced by a step-by-step tutorial.

What do you mean by non-visual nature?

I will make sure things don't overlap.

When you say it's not intuitive enough, please tell me specific complaints, or else I can't help you.

That one image was a symbol of what I've been waiting for for 2.5 months. Great job.

The reason the Key is writing things over eachother is because you resized it too small. I'm still not happy with the text wrapping, though.

The newest version now "works" in Firefox. I will work on making in work for IE and other browsers.

Well, it's annoying because I have a to keep scrolling up and down, up and down, between where I can select a body and edit a maneuver to where I can actually set a body as a maneuver's parent and change the maneuver type. I may be using a smaller screen than you, though. Also, if you set a maneuver type to "orbit" without selecting a parent body, the generator lags horribly. Setting a parent body should really be required every time you create a maneuver.

EDIT:

in terms of non-visual nature, the interface is all text and no pictures. in design, this can lead to road blocks for many users due to the fact that it's not very approachable to new users.

This, too. But the scrolling thing was more of a problem, for me.

EDIT 2:

Though I just realized I could have pressed control and scrolled to zoom out.

I see what you mean now. The newest version of the generator has the editing sections on the side so that you don't have to scroll.

I think I know what you mean by pictures: Instead of a checkbox that says destroy or a drop-down option that says orbit, you want a clickable picture of an x or a circle. This was my plan, I jsut haven't gotten around to it.

I may also remove the clear parent body button and automatically assign parent bodies to new crafts.

Also, I was thinking of an alternative planet selector that looked like this: http://i.imgur.com/5s5pw0O.jpg

I like that visual thing, but It'd also be nice if when you hovered you mouse over each of the icons, it would show what they meant. (So you don't have to constantly look back at the first post of this thread)

Not shown, but I already have that.

Every time I see your profile picture, I forget for a second that I don't have Cageify activated.
