KSP Freudian slips

I had started a post in the Technical Questions section, and in one of the answers the following happened:

… Thrust me, I have dealt with this myself in the past...

With that in mind, what can you come up with?

Try to keep the innuendo family friendly?

Whenever I'm typing, I generally write "rock" as "rocket." I was doing a paper once on a certain musical genre, and I found two places where I had accidentally written "Rocket-and-Roll," completely without knowing it.

Your signature is wonderful, by the way. Pan Galactic Gargle Blasters FTW!

As I've said in the original thread: 'That's what happens when English isn't your first language and your spell checker doesn't see anything wrong.'

Most great things come from mistakes and misunderstandings. Be it science, evolution, etc…

This thread is meant as an homage to your (and everyone else's) slip up, and believe me I admire those who are brave/intelligent enough to speak multiple languages. I hack my way through French and Dutch, and can order a beer in a few other languages but I could never post intelligibly on a foreign forum!

One time, I was excitedly showing my sister my heavy launch vehicle, and all she could say was:

"It looks like a bunch of cigarettes strapped together!"

(She was right. :()

Oh, and also when I launched into yet another impassioned lecture on rocket science to my friends, but this time they were prepared: "hah!! Thrust!!") :(:(:( :( :(

Saying LKO instead of LEO - this is going to ruin a job interview later in life, I bet.

Every. Time.

I have trouble reading scientific articles about satellites that mention LEO.

And I've almost said LKO several times when I'm talking about the International Space Station and such.

This game is going to be a pain.

Freudian slips? I've definitely caught myself a few times calling Mars 'Duna.' One of these days I'm going to post an image of Mars I've taken through my telescope to Facebook or something and say something along the lines of "Hey guys, look at my awesome picture of Duna!"

As for Fruedian 'ships,' I'm honestly afraid of posting a picture of my first Mun lander

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
