World of Tanks - What's missing

I've got a few must-haves and some maybe-could-haves for WoT that I'd like to discuss.

1: If tanks have more than one cannon, we should be able to use them.

Tanks like the M3 Lee and the Churchill have more than one cannon. The Lee has a small cannon turret and the Churchill has an extra cannon in the hull, neither of which are usable. In the PC game War Thunder, you can use any and all weapons on your tanks.

In WoT, they should add a system where the secondary gun has its own ammo options in the consumables list, and you could switch between the weapons in battle. Say your Lee's main gun gets knocked out, or your tread gets blown off by somebody behind you and you can't turn to face them. You would still want to be able to engage the target, so you could switch to your secondary cannon. It's a smaller gun, but at least you could still fire on the enemy. Also, if you're in the Churchill and your turret gets jammed, you could switch to the hull cannon and still fight effectively. If you didn't care much about the secondary weapons, you could disable them in the consumables list, saving some money on ammo and reducing the risk of ammo racks getting hit and exploding.

2. Tow cables

This is another thing that War Thunder has beaten WoT to. Say a buddy is trapped at the bottom of a cliff and they can't get back up. If your engine is strong enough, you should be able to attach some tow cables to their tank and pull them up. This would also add some interesting strategy to the game. Say a T28 (a REALLY slow tank destroyer) needs to get somewhere quicker. A faster and fairly large tank could attach a tow cable to it and pull it to another location a little bit faster than usual.

3. Wheeled tanks

This may seem like an iffy idea, but wheeled vehicles would add a whole new area of strategy to WoT. They could either have there own category or just be put in the light tank category. A few wheeled vehicle ideas are the British Mk.II Daimler, the German Puma, etc.

Advantages:

Excellent acceleration, braking and view range. Could handle falling and bumpy terrain better than treaded tanks. Very maneuverable. Could be slowed down, but not immobilized. Great camo factors.

Disadvantages:

Couldn't turn in place like treaded tanks. Wheels easily damaged, causing vehicle to lose speed and maneuverability. Very lightly armed and armored. Would have more trouble traversing soft terrain than treaded tanks.

If somebody could copy and paste these on the actual WoT forum, that would be great. :D

I enjoy the gameplay depth and learning curve of WoT. There's always something new to learn and you can act like a fool if your skills allow it. Hell, I once even rammed a TOG into a cliff with a medium after diving on top of him. Tank shenanigans FTW!

The bad thing about it is the grind. Most tanks below T4 are crappy, and all players have to go through them to get to the good tanks. It kinda benefits the community since most "LOL I totes rekt u m8 fken noobs" kids won't get very far into the game, but it's unbearable. From time to time I boot up the game and play a couple of matches on the tanks I need to upgrade, but it gets boring after a while. It's especially annoying when you're on a crappy tank at high tiers. I want to unlock a KV-1, but I need to play a bazillion games on a T-28, a huge elefant with the worst armor you could possibly imagine and the tallest turret in history.

Welp, I'm done with WoT for a while. For a good few matches my team lost to bad base defense, and a guy yelled at me like I was retarded when I tried to help defend the base in my TOG II. Atleast in War Thudner people don't yell at you when you try to help.

Most fun ever in WoT: Wolverine with the 105mm. The perfect hybrid of artillery and tank destroyer. Wrecks enemies all the way up at tier VIII.

EDIT: Well, twinkies... I was really looking forward to the T28 Prototype... Then I learned that its turret doesn't rotate all the way. I hate limited gun rotation. What a waste of anticipation. Same with the ELC AMX.

However, the Waffentrager might just take my grief away. 360-degree turret rotation and a massive gun. Me gusta. :D

I'm actually pretty happy with WoT as it is. Its WoWP that needs completely redoing.

Not a fan of war thunder as it cost so much to maintain vehicles after every match. Unless you're a good player you can never see the high tiers. I'm an awful player so 80% of the game is permanently locked to me.

Wow, totally made a fool of some higher tier tanks just now! In a VK 30.01 H no less!

In a VK 30.01 H? That horrid German tier 5 heavy? The one that used to not suck when it was tier 6?

Congratulations!

To get back on topic, I love WoT and love my beautiful Bert (FV304) and KV-2. The only thing missing really for me is the rest of the Chinese and Japanese tech trees...

I agree wholeheartedly. WoWP is just... horrid.

Accidentle artillery friendly fire needs to leave and trooling

yes, but it is funny to watch artillery forget about their own splash damage when they are defending themselves and end up killing themselves in the process!

I think they need to reconsider removing the TOG II* That is such a fun tank to drive!

May I have a link to the news regarding this, and will it be a total remove? I doubt that it will be removed from the game, just from the store. Also, the proper name doesn't have the * last I checked, for some reason WoT just has that there on the site.
