No Mk3 Clamp-o-tron?

I'm looking through the parts and see the inline clamp-o-tron (aka Mk 1 clamp-o-tron) and the Mk 2 clamp-o-tron. But, I can't see the Mk 3 clamp-o-tron. Why is this? Is this coming out in a future update?

It possibly is. The Mk3 parts are all brand new and supposedly there are still some which we are supposed to get. Like heavy landing gear. Remember that the mark 2 only got added in 0.24, with the mk1 inline clamp-o-tron being in the game since 0.18 when docking got added.

Why would you need a mk3 docking port? Can't you just sink the shielded one in the hull? It'll look better and won't take so much space than an inline one

You can easily build an inline docking ports inside Mk3 cargo bays.

The nose of the MKIII cockpit is a good place to put a shielded docking port.

I just use a mk2 inline port and offset it, then use a radial attachment point (docking port that cannot dock) to place a mk3 cargo bay inline, then offset that part to make it flush with the mk3 cockpit.

I really wish the shielded docking port was more pointy though. It looks too flat on the front of the cockpit.
