This plugin renders waypoints into flight mode. Want to switch between map and flight mode to find your waypoints? You can now do so with greater ease and with lease fear of crashing your craft.</p>

That would be a good implementation for stock. Although, it would seem more fitting to have it as an upgrade to the tracking facility.

I support the stock-ing of this. Particularly during rover contracts, where I can't see the waypoint on the navball.

If you have a navball pointing upward it means you need to fix your rover design so that you can see your heading and level easily:

- For manned rovers, use the EAS-1 External Command Seat - another advantage to it is that it lets you take EVA reports and surface samples without disembarking

- For unmanned rovers, use the Probodobodyne QBE. Use the rotation gizmo to rotate it so that its top faces the front, and the "QBE" decal faces upward. Another option is to stick a docking port to the front, so that you can use "control from here".
