I only started playing KSP a few days before .20 came out, but in those two days this mod was arguably my favourite for the endless things you can do once everything is moveable. Hopefully it'll be back soon, I can't wait!

And DR is awesome in balancing that kind of things, especially if you use it to carry lot of weight around :D

It would be nice to hear SOME kind of update.

Or to at least know that the author is doing anything at all.

Patience, they will fix it soon I'm sure.

Without DR, I can't release an entire mod pack I've made, so when you think you are getting itchy feet waiting for it, spare a thought for us who spent 3 months working on a mod

and the day before they were going to release it, Squad release KSP 0.20 and break Damned robotics, the one and only plugin requirement your mod has.

Maybe someone who knows how to code could create a standalone .dll to perform the functions DR preforms? From the looks of it it's either stagnated, or the original modder has his/her hands full with something else at the moment, Besides mumech.dll is horribly outdated and mechjeb is in a constant state of flux with their work on 2.0+.

Why do you say that? Apparently there are people working on it, see message below. Some patience would be nice :) I am really eager to get DR back into operation too, but hey, nothing to do but to exercise some patience.

The 0.20 changes were a bit hard on Damned Robotics, so it will take some time to get it back into operation.

AFAIK r4m0n is not working on DR.

Sorry for double post

EDIT May 31 So is the ball bearing connected with the mumechlib.dll? I installed the parts just so i could delete the parts that do not work. Everything is there except BB and i think a free rotation spindle. However my craft still will not load bc of BB part. Its the only thing i need to load my truck, so i can fool around with other things, until an update.

Anyone know what the BB looks like in a saved craft file, so i can delete it there?

I had to delete this plug in (mumechlib.dll) from 3 other mods so they would load. So the mods are working with no plugin? Maybe they are using an existing plugin from another mod in my game. Im not sure how they are working now. Forgive my lack of knowledge with all this.

I was looking through this thread from the beginning and found this. I like it.

The light grey side is the fixed side, attach it so the dark grey side point out and move it close to the edge ([shift]+W,S,A,D to adjust angle), the hinge folds up towards the side with the cylinder (not the flat side), then attach to the dark grey side.

it will not be exactly the same as mine but you can see the bbearing set up. delete all of this, and any place where it is currently linked. just the bbearing and nothing else. Example: sidx = -1

sqor = -1

attm = 1

then you will be able to atleast load your craft without the bbearing attached. Please anyone correct or make suggestions, im Just an average guy trying to figure things out

IS THERE GOING TO BE AN UPDATE FOR 0.20.2 KSP? wont work

Please read at least the last page or so when posting, as this has been discussed. Apparently an update is underway, though it might take a while. No amount of asking (or whining) is going to change anything about that :)

Yeah I'm still playing 19.1 cos KSP without DR is a lesser beast.
