I personally have deleted most of my stock parts, as I have found that quite a few mods look much better than stock, and I wasn't using the stock parts anymore. What about you?

EDIT: The poll got a little truncated for some reason, pretend it says: "Would you delete stock parts to save memory"

Tanks, Mk2+Mk3 fuselages, all wings and a few bits here and there go every reinstall because proc parts & B9 cover them in a more coherent and efficient way ( a fair amount of B9 goes too ). If I really want to fit something else in I tend to delete some of the IVAs, they can be enormous.

Deleted MK3, NASA and most fuel tanks (replaced by procedural parts), all but the most basic wings (replaced by procedural wings).

Oh, and i did simply wipe roverwheel2 (which is the smallest one). KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!

I keep one install of KSP that is all stock except for Mechjeb and Hyperedit and I don't mess with that one. But I have a Realism Overhaul install where I removed all tanks and fairings (stock or mod), and every stock unmanned pod and utility part I don't use. (Thank you procedural tanks and fairings!) It still isn't enough to make room for all the mod parts I want, I'm going to try the idea above to remove the big IVA files. I love the fact that I can do this sort of thing if I want to.

Well, since even if you have a NASA pc KSP will always use maximum of 3.5 gb RAM your statement is pretty useless :P

Unless he's running 64bit Linux :P

I haven't gone down the removing parts thing, I haven't felt the need yet, as my computer is also a yardbeast and can just take it.

If I was going to, stock would probably go last. Mostly because I like trying out other peoples craft files on occasion.

Also because I'm afraid if I do I'll lose some of my stuff in sandbox. I've got things in space that probably have stock parts on them.
