Awsum0
The new drag model is exciting news that may finally stop nose cose being a purely cosmetic item - are there any details around on this beyond the 2 lines in the notes? (We’ve redesigned the way drag is calculated, now it will take into account things such as part occlusion, facing, and got rid of the calculation being based on part mass.) KerbMav
That is pretty much all we have for now.

KerbMav
Ouups! Forgot about that one! But basically - this is just the same with more words?
Levelord
I'm quite excited to see how the new update shapes up to be. So far all we heard is that at least the new aero will respond to nosecones and general shapes.
Liowen
Well depends you could make your nosecones have a very practical use by making them have fuel in them. I really hope that there will be a way to keep this mod working with the new model.
metl
Here's a nice collection of fueled nose cones as well.http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/102041-0-25-TurboNisuReloaded-Stock-a-Like-Parts-Pack-5-12-14But back to the OP, i am stoked for this release and can't wait to read tonight's DevLog. Hopefully it will be packed full of good information.
Pecan
Nosecones in stock are not (quite) useless - their low drag helps a vehicle in atmosphere stay pointing in the right direction.
problemecium
I've wondered for a while why they didn't just improve using the existing system by giving nosecones very small mass and drag values (possibly negative drag if that doesn't summon the Kraken). Vanamonde
There is no specific news on the new aerodynamics. There are, however, several already existing threads on aspect of 1.0. Please post your thoughts and question in those rather than starting yet more threads about it.
