Reddragon
You should check out this older mod. It has last been updated earlier in December so I guess it might work. Anyway, it could help you building up your system.http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/38597-Part-Advanced-SRB-WIP-v0-7-by-Kerbal-Science-Foundation
Sampa
I am most interested in this...Maybe even Zekes might take a liking to this if he were to make a modded version of his MASSIVE space shuttle.
Starwhip
I is confused. Why are my parts invisible? Edited February 10, 2015 by Starwhip
Sampa
strange, when you fix this, you should keep the invisible texture just for a fun thing...makes it look like the capsule itself has some internal rockets!
Starwhip
Fixed the first of many issues so far:Now I need to get rid of the really ugly shading...

Starwhip
Looking good!(Also, is there a way to make it so that the fuel only flows down the stack? At the moment, it can go through fuel lines...)EDIT:We have 2.5 meter parts! Kind of...When I launch they become 1.25 meter parts with spacing in between... Ah... I had it set to the smaller tank's ID in the .cfg. Edited February 11, 2015 by Starwhip

Kartoffelkuchen
Why did you make a new resource (Booster fuel)? Why not just using SolidFuel? This would also fix your problem with fuelflow, since you can't transfer or move SolidFuel.
Starwhip
Because it doesn't even transfer between tanks... I think.Um...I'll find out.EDIT:It doesn't. Edited February 11, 2015 by Starwhip

Mecripp
If you wanted your own Resources thats fine but you could have done @RESOURCE_DEFINITION[SolidFuel]{ @flowMode = STACK_PRIORITY_SEARCH}And all still looks like it works the same.EDIT- Well besides, I did edit all your tanks and engines to use SolidFuel. Starwhip
Yes, but there's still crossfeed between tanks. If I can figure out how to fix it, I'll base everything off of SolidFuel. I'll apply your method.
Starwhip
VERSION 0.4: New nozzles, solid fuel resource. Further part balancing.EDIT:Aaghh! The new 2.5 meter SRN overheats! SmallFatFetus
Why did you make a new resource (Booster fuel)? Why not just using SolidFuel? Starwhip
I second this.PS- Potato CakeSmallFatFetusIt's already been done. Version 0.5.0 fixed it.However, as SolidFuel doesn't transfer between tanks, or engines, and just stays put in it's own part, I've had to use the temporary solution of giving it a STACK_PRIORITY_SEARCH flow type with ModuleManager. I'm working on a .dll that will check if a fuel line is connected to a part with the SolidFuel resource, and disable flow if it is.
Starwhip
Modular Booster System version 0.6.0 is on the horizon.MBS 0.6.0 will add new models for engines, and possibly an upper-stage nozzle for each size. (Suggestion by FishInferno)I am looking for testers. Currently I only have one.Roles of testers would include:-Looking for bugs-Checking for consistency-Playing the game with the parts-Aggressively testing the parts-Not submerging the parts in water, even partially. ()If you would like to become a tester for MBS, send me a private message or post here.
