Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide!

Great Scott, people are imbeciles... Let's charge someone a felony for saying there's water coming out of your tap!

Excerpt from a comment I've read on the same page:

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and kills uncounted thousands of people every year. Most of these deaths are caused by accidental inhalation of DHMO, but the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide do not end there.

Prolonged exposure to its solid form causes severe tissue damage. Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance. For those who have become dependent, DHMO withdrawal means certain death.

Dihydrogen monoxide:

· is also known as hydroxl acid, and is the major component of acid rain.

· contributes to the “greenhouse effect.â€Â

· may cause severe burns.

· contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.

· accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.

· may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.

· has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients.

Contamination is reaching epidemic proportions!

you guys do know what DHMO is right?

Its an incredibly dangerous substance that is sometimes also known as Hydric Acid or Hydrogen Hydroxid. Use of it can cause devasting damage to the body, in particular if the substance is inhaled. It is a highly narcotic substance, and has many street names, such as "mist" and "rain".

But what about the positive uses of dihyddrogen monoxide? Like keeping the human race alive? Sure, the cons DO outweigh the pros, but keep in mind the work it would take to keep this substance out of the homes and streets. It could take years, even decades! Banning it could be too much work.

This is getting to be a much bigger problem than we're seeing. People who inhale it (like they do a few other drugs) can die quite painfully.

The medical examiners have covered it up by saying they've "drowned."

Remember, when buying water bottles, be sure to ask, "Is this DHMO free?" Don't let anyone get their hands on it!
