Press "/" to kill warp

Recommended Posts

Makes perfect sense to me, press the "/" button to kill warp instantly, rather than hammering the "<" key. It's right next to the warp keys and it's not used.

Why would hitting Shift+7 to kill time warp make sense?

In general, using punctuation marks in default keybindings is a bad idea, because keyboard layouts are quite different around the world. It's mostly safe to assume that , and . are to the right from m, but the rest varies from country to country.

Ah, hadn't thought about different keyboard layouts. But I cannot think of any widely used keyboard layouts that *don't* have a key between RShift and ,/.

There's a difference between physical keys and logical keys. On my Mac, KSP sees that key as -.

I think you should be able to add a "Stop time warp" node to the trajectory in map view. as your craft approaches the node it automatically starts slowing down the warp.

This! Nobody sets a maneuver node with the intention of ignoring it so any maneuver node you place should automatically slow timewarp at a set time before the node.
