forum looks weird on chrome

since a few weeks ago I have been getting a very weird looking forum on chrome

on my laptop, display resolution is 1366x768 (standard laptop, running W10)

this is how it looks like

 

and this is how it looks like on firefox

 

on chrome, text seems to display all bunched together, and also the font looks weirder

I don't see this issue on my PC, which has a resolution of 1280x1024 and runs Win10 as well

 

the issue is visible at 100% zoom, and it's present both when fullscreen and when the window is a bit reduced

 

is there any known cause to this?

I even tried to reset chrome settings but that didn't affect anything

I use Chrome and haven't noticed any problems.

I'm comparing Firefox and Chrome on Win10, the font rendering looks virtually identical to me.

I poked around in Chrome's settings trying to duplicate the issue but didn't see anything, sorry.

what resolution do you have? maybe it's just that

I tried to reset chromes settings so I doubt that's the cause

Screen is 1080p, window is 1024 wide.

anyone with a resolution of 1366x768 ? I don't have any other laptop to test from

My laptop is that exact resolution, but I'm not seeing any difference in the text size or distribution on my end..

I just found the culprit, I had installed a font some time ago, and chrome was loading it instead of the standard one.

I have no idea why
