Felipe (HarvesteR): I love the smell of Experimentals in the morning… well, late afternoon, but hey, we’re there now and that’s what counts. Spent the week fixing bugs and tweaking many little things, and some not-so-little as well.

Chad (C7):*We’ve*been working hard to get the game through QA and to Experimentals.*I’ve*mostly been working on fixing any problems that have*cropped up and polishing up existing features for the release.

Daniel (danRosas): Finally released the printable Kerbal models on Shapeways. Last week I was tweaking some things for those models and doing some animation polishing. I’m going back and forth polishing animation, rendering scenes and starting to adjust the composition layers.

Alex (aLeXmOrA): Almost done with the KerbalEdu system in KSP website. There were some little issues that I have checked and fixed, but it’s going pretty good so far.

Marco (Samsonart): We made the last few tweaks to the client part of the Edu system.

Ted (Ted):*I’ve*been testing out the last few fixes for Tweakables and the Science Archives that were performed in QA and ensuring that everything was all tidied up for Experimentals - which*we’ve*started today! On*the topic of the Science Archives, they look and perform extremely well and I’m sure many of you will be very pleased with their addition.

Miguel (Maxmaps): Hoping everyone had an excellent thanksgiving, the Black Friday sales on both KSP and our new awesome figurines went fantastic. Kerbalkon is just about ready as well. Dec.12th, save the date!

Anthony (Rowsdower): Had a bit of a crash course in intellectual property law today while I worked on finalizing the KerbalKon schedule, confirmed all of our guests and spent the day in a community frenzy. Between the milestone announcement and getting everything going for KerbalKon, there are some really big things on the way that I can’t wait to share.

I'm Absolutely buzzing for this. I actually got too excited on facebook when I saw this pop in my feed as I saw "development milestone: 0.23...." and I was like no way they must've released it! Cue minor disappointment, but still! I'm looking forward to it; is there going to be a 'features' video, like we had for 0.22? I think maxmaps did it?

Can we get more info related to tweakables? So far we've got a few implications being nudged in here and there, and what it is sounds really game changing.

What do you mean? They stated pretty clearly how it's going to work.

I have a question... why is it that during Devnote Tuesdays, all the write-ups from the developers are randomly filled with asterisks (*)?

I'm going to guess that the individual devnote submissions arrive in some other word processing format and the asterixes appear when things like bullet points are converting during the copy n pasting.

Now that experimentals have started, does that mean new experimental applications? I wish I could help, because I have linux.
Nope, they use the same testers every time.

They do, however, open up applications from time to time, so look in the announcements regularly.

I have a question: do over planets and moons have biomes since 0.23 or it will be the same situation like in 0.22?

Just want to know is there any reason for mobile labs or rovers in any over place except Mün.

I believe they have stated there will be more biomes in 0.23, but I am unsure of which planets or moons will have them. Until then, I don't know why you mean there's "no reason" for mobile labs and rovers. Before 0.22 there was no science, and then their purpose was for fun and exploration! Or whatever purpose you made for them.

They are busy running around mexico.

Yeah, and I don't suspect there are too many issues with experimentals -- my guess is that they are just holding back the release until some time during Kerbalkon (which makes me sad because I want to play it now!) :D

But how will we get our weekly fix if we have to wait one more day? :( It'll throw off my entire carefully balanced calendar of refreshing the forums at work :)
