  1. If I were to install KAS in a career I play over a long time and want to continue for a long time wich one would be the best option: normal or beta?
  2. Investigative journalism going on here hope it includes to lag fix.
  3. So the first one refers to the actual connection on the active vessel? Then It's singular "Aktive Verbindung".
  4. Does "working" mean they're just working or the're actually connected? there are only two things to translate if I'm right: working connection and all working connections so I guess it does refer to "active connections" and "all connections"? If yes it would be "Aktive Verbindungen" and "Alle Verbindungen" in german.
  5. Not sure if we're talking about the same thing. I don't have a blanc button, I have no button. This is kind of embarrassing... forget what I said. Nice mod, love it. Gotta get my eyes checked I guess. Too be fair that red color really is hard to read on my monitor!!
  6. No problem, I got time and wanted it out of the way, now I can wait patiently. And there are 3 layers: map (useless), red dots (to find the actual lights) and finally the 3rd layer that is the requested black and white image. Just export that layer as whatever you need it. I wanted to give you all the stuff with the reference layers and lines as a .xcf Here is what it looks like, dark:
  7. If I were to install the normal EVE, wich has city lights, could I replace their citylights layer with a test one I created or would it take more actions? @panzer1b Will this do?: https://github.com/maculator/Alles/blob/master/lights.xcf Uploaded the whole file. There is one issue I can spot directly: its probably a few meters off in most cases since I was bound to 3600x1800px (Made it easier to translat lat/long I got from scansat (1000x zoom)). Stil those lights are 2x2px, pretty big. Well I just hope you can do something with it and a bit of tweaking isn't something I'm afraid off. Aaaaalso one of the dots is definitly the randolith from my savegame, I just don't know wich one might have to dig deeper. Quick feedback if the data is usable would be nice. Cheers.
  8. If you need to know wich pixels have to glow you could also convert the lat/long into dpi I guess. 0/0 would be the center of the layer, -180/90 top left and 180/-90 bottom right. So a 3600/1200 picture would have squares of 10/10 for each square degree. Edit: I'm stupid Anyways I'll try and get that pic going.
  9. Okay, deal. Is this the right format? (width/height) Because I could definitly put those koords in that map and use gimp to transform it in a black and white layer like the one you linked above.
  10. It all seems to be fine, just false flagged. The problem I got with this is sadly that windows only knows two options for detected files: Don't execute them or allow the "threat" to be executed. Both ModuleManager and this mod are flagged for me and I either don't use them anymore or tell my windows to never ever stop this threat again: "https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?name=Trojan%3aWin32%2fCritet.BS&threatid=2147726294" I'm really sorry to bother you with this, but I'm just afraid that telling it to ignore this type of threat will potentially open a door for bad things.
  11. For some reason my Windows defender has a bad day and flags the .dll as a virus :S the second mod today. Just wanted to let you know.
  12. I usually delete the whole CityLights stuff^^ But I think it would be awsome if put to good use. Instead of scanning the planet and fighting with the godawful kerbnet youcould see a small dot of light in the night and think "I'll investigate this!"
  13. I got a problem with your mod @DMagic: "Trojan:Win32/Critet.BS" "file: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\TrackingStationEvolved\BetterTracking.dll" "file: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\TrackingStationEvolved\BetterTracking.Unity.dll" Windows defender flags it as a trojan.
  14. Would you concider adding a city lights overlay that just adds verry small lights to the points of interrest? Would that even be possible? Would be cool to see those etc. from space.
  15. Sounds good. The thing about turning off relays in the filter is that I then won't see them on the map... This is why I was hoping for a category that I can colappse to get them out of the list but not out of the map.
  16. I can't tell you how much I needed this!!! Thank you! One recommendation/request: Can you put all ships flagged as relays into a "CommNet" category? So it would kind of look like this: Kerbin { Mun { CommsNet { Relay1 Relay2 Relay3 } Vessel1 Vessel2 } Minmus { CommsNet { Relay1 Relay2 Relay3 } Vessel1 Vessel2 Vessel3 } Vessel1 Vessel2 Vessel3 Vessel4 } Iti really frustrates me to have the whole trackingstation cluttered with all those sats. Just an idea. Cheers.
  17. Did you concider making a "light" version of KAC in the future? For little kids that easily get overwhelmed or people like me that are purists? I was thinkin alot about a version with just a small window to display alarms and two buttons "add timer alarm" and "add date alarm" no options, no warp, no jump to ship ... nothing more than a basic alarm clock. Just wanted to share my idea, thanks.
  18. The stutter is there sonce 1.3 at least. There used to be a fix but I guess the fix isn't available for 1.4 and upwards. I too would like to bump this issue.
  19. Why is colonists! listed as 1.4 but science - full reward! not? How is the list updating? Manually? Via Spacedock? Via ckan? Anyways both of my mods work in the current version of ksp. Thanks for the list.
  20. I guess all I wanted to ask has allready been asked, I'll just sub and see. Thanks for the mod.
  21. You need the mod and a set of configs. The ones on github where you got the plugins for example. You sould end up with a folder "EnviromentalVisualEnhancements" and "BoulderCo" (<-- this might change if you use other congis from SVE, AVE etc..)
