  1. I am trying to track down NohArk's source code for the Space Tug, which according to CKAN was for KSP 0.25. I installed the GameData files on KSP 1.4.5 and it caused a "CRASH." I would like to learn more about the whole modding, with Unity, Visual Studio, and so forth. I used to program in C++ when working on my Bachelor in Computer Science. I did not stay with it very much as I continued with more schooling; such as Masters and doctorate. Nevertheless, I have never programmed in real world applications that KSP seems to mimic on a variety of levels. Any assistance you can provide is greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    G

Are you still looking for this?

Apparently you have a version , do you know which version it is?  The latest I have from *** malicious site we no longer use *** is 0.4d, there is a dll, but that's easily decompiled

      Let me know

  2. Hi linuxgurugamer,

I wanted to use the Thorr II SRB and the Titan V engine  of KW Rocketry Redux 3.1.1.1, but its not showing up in the parts selection menu (VAB). I researched the part in the techtree, so I have no idea what's going on. I am using KSP 1.2.0

    Tnx in advance

Post in the kw thread.  Sounds like an install issue

Would you have the update whch was posted for 1.0.5?  All I can find are the original files, which are for 0.90

Not saying I'll do it, but I'm looking at it

  5. Thank you Fall all your work.

Without your Energy KSP would be a more deserted place.

    Godspeed on your ways.

PS.: i Think we need a stiked Tread from you to know where you have all your Fingers in:wink: to be informed what all you have revived  (you are on the best way to be a Voodoo-Doktor :) )

no problem, lots of non-english speakers here

But somehow, I don't think that would really help

      GovFunding

      Chopit

      MiscParts

      All by Marce

If you can find them, that would be great.

      Thanks

      That's great.

I actually heard from Marce, he is ok with me reviving his mods, but he doesn't have the source, so if you have any of his other mods in zip'd form, that would be useful. I'm not sure what I'll get to, but having them would be a big help.

      Thanks

Me too.  I have over 35 years of development experience before I moved up, still love to code.  And atitudes like what I just encountered are the reason projects sometimes fail

  11. So, I had a question regarding SXT mod. Some parts from that mod are black (I assume that`s the textureless part).

Is that because it is reusing stock textures, and because i have ven`s those textures have been replaced by ven`s ?

    1. linuxgurugamer

      linuxgurugamer

ok.  So, first, which zip from Ven's did you try installing?  You need to get the master zip, not the release:

      https://github.com/VenVen/Stock-Revamp/archive/master.zip

Second, did you use autopruner on it or not? If you did, then that's your problem.

I just tried installing Ven's on top of SXT, and no black parts, but I didn't use autopruner.

Yes, you need to make sure those textures are there.

There is a discussion about this somewhere in the thread for Ven's

  13. hi linux, do you have an email adress you will give out? I have some questions that maybe not the best to discuss on the forums

  14. Hey man. Is there any chance you happen to have a Better Time Warp for 1.2? I kinda... need it badly, vanilla physics warp is lossy and causes bad things.

    1. linuxgurugamer

      linuxgurugamer

      Nope, sorry

and I'm not going to have time to do it for a while

  15. Do you realize you have Total Time in your signature twice???

One leads to Spacedock the other to the forum thread

Just a heads up in case you didn't know

(or maybe you did it deliberately)

Love the new Janitor mod by the way!

  16. @linuxgurugamer, I'm guessing by your name that you may be ever so slightly familiar with Linux.  You don't happen to know of a good GUI git-hub repository interface?

    1. linuxgurugamer

      linuxgurugamer

Not really, I just use the web interface.

      Sorry.

  17. DuoDex,

If you aren't going to be updating Coherent Contracts, would you mind if I take it over?  Obviously I'd follow the license you have in there, all I'm really interested in doing is to get it repackaged for 1.0.5 with the current ModuleManager DLL and avaiable for people

    Thanks

Do you think you could repackage it, and put it in a folder in the Zip file?  That would be more standard and make it easier to get Netkan to use it, I'm having a problem in the way it is right now

      Thanks

Oh, just saw you updated it on Kerbalstuff.

NM then about the MM, I see it isn't there anymore

Could you at least mark it as 1.0.5 compatible in CKAN?
