  2. Never seen such a bug. It seems like a problem specifically for this ship. A screenshirt would go a long way here. Writing this huge post and not taking time to take a screenshot seems like a waste to me.

  5. If I'm building it, it will need the following: 1. Delta V of 12k in atmosphere. 2. Kerbin TWR of 1+ in atmosphere. 3. Refinery, drill, ore storage, ore scanner. Please build and post pictures. If by landing you mean that you want to land at least a part of the ship, then you can try deploying a lander refinery. - - - Updated - - - I actually like those little ones, they can help lower your CoM. Maybe you can even strut it and attach the landing struts to them. Also, is it possible to use the alignment tool to make them go inside that tank abit?
  6. No pictures - solve yourself. I mean really, is it really that hard to take a screenshot and post it? From what we know so far, your staging seems wrong, you should put both decouplers on the same stage. Mechjeb follows your programmed staging. Don't use 4way simmetry if only detaching 2 boosters on each stage. Don't mix up the decouplers on staging. Double check. Use retro separatrons. - - - Updated - - - Agree completely
  7. For example, you want to make eccentric orbit 50 km on 500 km. I would set up my approach to 500km and make a burn to circulize or make 50k periapsis, only because I'm using nuclear engines that take longer to burn, so it is easier to time the burn on higher orbit.

  9. Can't get enogh of this mining outpost. So hassle-free. Are you doing any serious roving on minmus, or is it just for docking purpose? If you do, how is this rover tank performance on slopes? My rover Mun base was doing terribly on slopes. Off topic though...

  11. Correct. My bad. It's not a slingshot, because you were always in Kerbin SoI all along.
  12. Yes, close to Kerbin it has a huge influence on your trajectory. But what you have to understand is you are almost escaping Kerbin SoI when you orbiting Minmus. So as long as Kerbin is not on your way it doesn't matter where exactly are you. Even it's better if kerbin is on your way, because you can slingshot then, which is fun.... All you have to do is burn, until your escape trajectory is parallel to Kerbin current pro or retro and be at the transfer window. Take care of inlination issue though. Fixing inclination is more expensive than changing direction of an escape burn. Time is on your side in interplanetary, so if inclination is funny, fix it early.
  13. I suggest struts to reenforce against wobbling. I had a same problem. In an upcoming episode of my Let's Play KSP series I was launching ss. Please check it out as it might help, but your eyes only, not released yet https://youtu.be/lR58l1xawvI 4:48 is when it's shown. And it's better lo launch SS dry and bring fuel later from kerbin or ore refinery.
  14. I can send you mybmechjeb folder. I don't have that bug. Maybe if you delete your mechjeb folder and replace with mine it'll fix it? AND you mechjeb is outdated. Mine is 2.5.3.0. But that maybe because your KSP is outdated. Whatever the reason for that, it is noted in release notes they have fixed bug with procedural fairings, that was in 2.5.1. Also if this only one craft that has this problem you can send me the craft file and I'll see. Also try disabling auto warp and warp and stop warping manually. I suspect mechjeb just doesn't stop warping for spme reason. Otherwise it's either compatibility issue or a broken game. Either can be cured by your KSP folder backup before installing new mods.

  16. I think there is kethane-powered engine within that kethane mod, that can breathe in duna and eve. But that was long ago, Scott Manley was using one.

Approaching episode 20, so I decided to post this. , and I make those just for fun.But since none around me in real life find KSP interesting enough, I decided at least to take some videos to watch in the future. Then I ran into trouble: disk space. So, let's upload it on YouTube and make series! And here you go. No commentary, you DON'T wanna hear my voice. Lot's of gameplay.
