I'm currently making a name list for these weather phenomena I call "Almost-Tropical Cyclones" (more about them later). I need names; Specifically, Kerbal names starting with letters A through W, but not U. I already have Jebediah, Kirfal, Obman, Shelden, Tetris, and Werhner.

Well I made a thing.
It's the Compact LV-303, now just needs UV unwrapping and texturing. Which I don't know how to do.

Yo, @Andem.
Sal's avatar change is kind of a cold bucket of water eh?
You're probably a good person, and I believe I am a good person. Both you and I think we're doing whats right, I suppose, and neither you nor I want to harm anyone. But this discussion you, I and many others are having... it's just causing more damage. To the people involved, to the company's reputation, to our morales, to our reputations...
I know I'm not always in my best behavior, and the past 48 hours or so most likely qualify. What do you say we both just shut up about it, go play some KSP and let things ride for awhile?

So what do you guys think of my new sig colors?
It's various blue and purple shades

Remember that potential moon I found around that giant gas planet IPH-4b (Goliath)? I have some updates.
It turns out Goliath is a Kepler Object of Interest known as KOI-5308.01. It is actually 1.95 Jupiter radii, not 2.5.
I was also able to get a rough estimate of its moon's semi-major axis, which appears to be around 770,000 km. However, since I was only looking for small dips clearly before and after Goliath, and not very close to it, I calculated the planet's mass to be less than 0.16 Jupiter masses. It looks like HEK is going to be needed in order to confirm this guy. I may have missed Moon Transits that were close to Goliath, so TTV's seem to be the only way to find the moon's orbital period.

Starting later today, I will not be on the forum until Monday, August 22nd. I'm going camping and want to unplug myself for the entire weekend.

Just cleaned out a whole bunch of old messages... literally hundreds of old ones.
But I may have deleted a few I shouldn't have. opps. -
I just finished re-writing all 60 Emiko Station chapters!
I cleaned up and polished the format, and made everything more consistent, and hopefully easier to read. But I didn't change the story itself, so while I invite y'all to go back and see if you like how it looks, there is no "required reading" so to speak. I swapped out a word here and there, but the plots remain the same. I also spotted and corrected an embarrassing amount of mistakes, but I probably still missed some…Oh, I also added a new "Return to Index" link at the end of each chapter, to make navigating a little easier.

I just got my braces off!

I now have a Twitter!
I'm late to the party.
It's over, isn't it.
