  5. Pro tip: be careful when discussing the origin of the universe, or else this might happen:

And if having a horrendous sinus infection wasn't bad enough, we have scientists calling other scientists and their science "unscientific". Well done people. You've managed to rival illness in terms of negativity by declaring Stephen Hawking's 50 years of cosmological work non-scientific.

A theory is an idea that hasn't been fully proven yet.

We're done with the discussion on theories now.

  6. Me and Spaceception are working on a collaborative project. It is still in the very early stages currently.

Expect more updates in the future. :) We're gonna stay vague until we've made more progress.

  7. 5/13/2017 - 1 year anniversery of somebody finding an electric pair of pants.

    :D

  8. Bro, what have you been EATING?!

    http://www.labnews.co.uk/features/star-nearly-12-05-2017/

    191 g/cm^3 is just...oh my go--*brain explodes*

  9. "Okay... So I'll just compact this trash, and take it out to the dumpster..." *Steps on a rotten cucumber*

    "OH CRAP!!!!!"

Now, I've got green sludge stained into my damn sock!

  10. Oh well will you look at this: HAT-P-26b, the oddball Hot Neptune:

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/space/go-for-launch/la-sci-sn-exoplanet-atmosphere-water-20170511-story.html

So, essentially, anyone on this planet will be

    1. Getting a horrifyingly squeaky voice
    2. Smelling rotten eggs everywhere
    3. Having their skin burnt off by the toxic clouds
    4. Dying (because it's a Hot Neptune)

    FUN!

  13. I just completed my first ever shuttle mission. I created a teensy little space shuttle and took it on a Minmus-and-back mission, flag and all.

Pics coming tomorrow! (I took quite a lot, but it's getting late now).

  17. I've started a campaign on Exoplanet Explorers called "Iona or Bust" to find a nearly-perfect small [likely] rocky planet candidate in the habitable zone of an M-Dwarf star.

And something was just found....something HUGE.....
