  1. Just waiting for the next major bug fixes. There are still several super annoying bugs that takes aways lots of fun.
  2. I also have the same trouble with this mission and other missions as well. The game permanently confuses the vessels. Sometimes a single ejected part becomes the vessel. I won't play anymore until they have fixed these issues.
  3. Today I refined my Eve Lander with 10 Kerbals to orbit from 195 engines plus a terrier to merely 13 plus a terrier. I doubt I can get it any better than this. Next I will build the other parts of the mission and finally do it!
  4. Built an Eve Lander that can carry 10 Kerbals and gets me back to orbit. I used Lazy Orbit to get myself landed and tried for eons. My solution is a giant rocket with 12 asparagus staged boosters and 195 vector enginges in total (and a terrier to get orbit on the last stage). Recommendations are welcome. :-D I suffered through 1 fps ascends. As of now it's basically impossible to finish this mission in one go. Starting from Kerbin I'd need a behemoth transfer stage and ten times as much power to lift that monster up in the sky. I really hope they somehow improve the performance cause right now missions with big vessels are no fun. Small to mid-size are working atm. Got a 3700Ti mobile.
  5. Reported Version: v0.2.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 11 | CPU: Fast CPU | GPU: RTX 3700 Mobile | RAM: 16 gb Hey there, a bug which I encountered several times is that my apoapsis and periapsis are being raised while flying through the atmosphere. Dunno if it already has been reported. Included Attachments: KerbalSpaceProgram22024-02-0316-43-04.mp4 Atmosphere-SciencetoJoul.json quicksave_1.json
  6. Awesome, some nice fixes! Keep it up guys.
  7. Hopefully you guys managed to fix that vanishing oribital lines issue as well. It's one of the major bugs in my opinion. Sadly I think you would have listed it if it really was fixed instead of let's say having to double click something :-D
  8. Great work so far! For me the most annoying bugs are vanishing orbital lines and random change of orbits after saving and loading. Many of my crafts were suddenly on a collision course after reloading. Also sometimes my AP is starting to raise (should go down) even though I'm slightly in the atmosphere circling around Duna. Also I hope there will be forced physical warp in space and unlocked warped times when near to a body (stuff taking forever otherwise). Otherwise great. Looking forward to the next patches!
  9. Had the same bug twice already. Quite confusing and weird! Hope they will fix this with patch 2.
  10. Hey everybody, I really like the mod but somehow the planet "Eve" is just a purple ball with no atmosphere or clouds at all (not like in the video). I could of course just delete the texture file entirely but then again I'd like to make it look like in the video. I've tried to change several options in the Clouds menu but that doesn't seem to change a thing. Isn't there a way to make it look at least a bit less dense so that one can actually see some atmospheric movement also because it doesn't really look nice to have a purple ball with no details. It's also quite hard to find a landing spot like this. Any suggestions and ideas would be most welcome!
  11. Maybe, I'll just leave it for now, be happy with the functioning part of the mod and try to install EVE. ;
  12. Sadly the only thing working for me in 1.1.2 is the Vacuum ambient light level. All other values don't change a thing. I wonder why it works for some people but not for others. As for graphic mods I only use (or rather would like to use) PS atm.
  13. Apparently the reason for the error was my career savegame folder. As soon as I deleted the persistent.sfs and renamed my quicksave.sfs to "persistent.sfs", all other careers including this one became visible again. Really strange. Must have something to do with the way Kerbal tries to read the savegames. Anyways! Problem solved. Thanks!
  14. Yes, I also suspect the SSD to be damaged and I'm planning to replace it but I installed the game on another drive and the folders are being created correctly in "ksp/saves/" if I start a new career. Thus it can't be read-only. It's just confusing that this happens on two separate drives. I'll try to rename the folder though and see if it helps.
  15. Hello everybody. As the title suggests I'm having problems with loading my saves / resuming any kind of game (career, sandbox etc.). I use the steam version of the game and I had a problem with my SSD. It crashed and recovered all the files afterwards but then the save games in the main menu (the main menu after starting the game and not the loading menu inside of an actual career) didn't show up anymore. Instead the list is simply empty. First I deleted Ksp (the folder entirely) and reinstalled Ksp. Didn't work. Then I reinstalled it on a different Hard Drive. Didn't work. Now I figured out that even if I create an entirely new game the saves don't show up anymore. The folders are being created in the Kerbal folder and I can also save and load games but as soon as I leave the game and try to resume it, the saves/career are not present. The cause for this is beyond my understanding. Maybe you have any ideas what I could do. I don't really want to reinstall my whole computer! Thanks for your help.
