Hello?
Anyone alive?
-
@Geonovast But is the thing that does the thinking the same thing that is conscious of the thinking?

It's been two years since I've last been to the forums properly (very long hiatus, I know) and, ah....are you the guy that used to have the tardigrade profile picture?

So I found out today there's a Robin Hood 2058 in production.
I actually want to see it, even though there's a 99.99% chance it's going to be bad. I just hope it's the "so bad it's good" side of things.

Today's most frequently asked question of 2019 that was never asked is, "Are you dead?"
Answer: Not yet.

Tomorrow is going to be as lit as an SRB...
I'm in the CST timezone, so...
A Falcon 9 with GPS-III at 8.
A European Soyuz with a spy sat at 10:30.
A Delta IV Heavy with a spy sat at 8.
A GSLV MkII with a Commsat at 4:40 AM the following day.
Four launches in 24 hours.
...And Blue Origin has filed for a launch at 8 AM but hasn't said anything about it yet. So maybe 5...

My current fighter, as a wire frame. Style completely stolen from Spartwo, it just looks so good.

Forget the most puzzling questions in the universe. Forget the reason of life and why we are all here. The real question is: What would you do for a Klondike bar

I'm leaving. Hopefully not forever. The status updates are the only part of the Forum I use anymore. I'm abandoning Seeker. Forever. I'm glad I met you guys.
I hope I'll be back.

I just realized. I've been active on this forum (after the Great Forum Purge of 2012) for 5 years...

Ok, folks... so over the last few weeks things have been far from normal for me. Looking for a return of normalcy soon. I do not do too well in a world of chaos.

Anyone doing NaNoWriMo tomorrow? I'm reviving The Children Between Worlds Yes, that one.

Attention, followers,
If you have model rocket launch capability, decent video editing experience, and the capacity to mail letters potentially internationally, well, I had an idea.
What if we did a collaboration where we mailed each other a tiny little astronaut figure and launched each others?
Note: From the US, mailing a letter internationally appears to be under $2 as far as I can tell. However, machines do the processing, so it would be unwise to send anything rigid in the envelopes. I've heard that coins don't get through the machines, so lego minifigures are probably out, that was my original idea. So something non-rigid, like a small rubber lizard or a paper/light cardboard cutout or something would have to work.
If you are interested say so and I will PM you all later!
