  1. Haven't tried any other than SVE, Scatterer and EVE for some reason but they are very good together.
  2. What a great series! Sad to see Vol 1 end, but all great things must come to an end. Can't wait for Vol 2! Also, another song for Emiko to sing: "Take it Easy", Jim. Have a nice day!
  3. 1.1, 2016. I build rockets which blew up a lot, played a bit of career, got bored, used logic (no tutorials) to get into orbit and the mun.
  4. Sorry, what I was trying to say here was that even though the nozzle idea doesn't really go with the unrealistic liquid fuel rocket nozzles, it should still be kept as it would be a nice thing to have. Also, the idea that you could offset the nozzles (and not the entire srb) is a really good feature that I'm not sure why it isn't in the game already.
  5. @T1mo98 That mockup looks pretty realistic. I like the booster on the left in the second shot. It would also look good in Titan III and IV replicas. On a different note, I do have to admit that the nozzle section of this suggestion will not line up with the rest of the game's nozzle system (which isn't very realistic). Scott Manley has a good video about how KSP doesn't teach rocket nozzles here: Though of course this suggestion would be pretty bland without the nozzles so I am definitely not rubbing it out. It would still be great to have the nozzles.
  6. What's a Bluray? I really wouldn't be concerned as everything you do is probably being tracked by the Chinese government or the CIA or something. If you have a concern with KSP outgoing connection (not required for game, though some mods may use internet connection), just block it in Windows firewall.
  7. I wonder why Barbeque Bay's crater rims are so high. Unless it is a non atmospheric/weather place such as the mun, erosion should have destroyed the large walls of the crater... Unless it is a rather new crater.
  8. I do have to say it is pretty cool, but in my replica it slows down my PC to like 20 fps for no reason. It is called the Korolev cross and in real life it looks even cooler.
  9. Might do a aircraft and space survey of that site. May be able to find a little more information about it based on it's surroundings and Kerbnet. Also, good luck on that steep terrain!
  10. KSP has some great geography made by Squad, and before that the original makers of the reversed map. For a while there was a moderately sized thread about the geography of KSP: Unfortunately, this thread is long dead as stated by the final two posts. I hadn't really thought about making this thread until I saw over the past couple of months, more and more small threads were made about the geography of Kerbin i.e. the land bridge that used to connect the peninsula east of the KSC to the large companies. Why did it go naturally? (Why would Squad care about one tiny land ridge and have to remove it??) Basically, this thread is a place to discuss the geography of the planets, moons and beyond. Firstly as a starting point, I have heard references to meteor craters scattered around Kerbin. Can we locate them (aparts from the already obvious one)
  11. So I was doing my first rendezvous / dockingwith a space station, very inexperienced and it seemed like the hardest thing ever to me, anyway, I had currently in orbit a space station, another manned spacecraft (for some reason, I only just brought it back down, it was in orbit for 2 Kerbal years). I was so focused on getting a close approach that when I was at closest approach I realised I was flying pass the other spacecraft, not the space station.
  12. I personally think the srbs of the game need a well needed overhaul which changes everything about them. My idea is that we split up the srbs into sections: Choose a fuel source (least efficient at bottom of tech tree, most efficient at top) (not too necessary, but what would differentiate earlier and later booster in the tech tree?) Choose an igniter (not necessary) Choose a nozzle (launch, space, gimbal variants, also tilting the nozzle by itself, not entire booster) Most of all, solid fuel segments (like the current liquid fuel tanks. The space shuttle used 4 segment srbs and the SLS 1A and B may use 5 segment srbs) Hopefully these would be in 0.625m (Delta 2 replicas, more stable boosters for smaller sizes), 1.25m, 1.875m (DLC, Titan replicas), 2m and if you are daring, 3.75m and 5m (DLC) SRB parts. Also, as a bonus, it would be cool if once the boosters run out of fuel, the exhaust keeps on going as the thrust slowly decreases like the real Space Shuttle boosters. Hope you like this idea, RS
  13. https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/RocketSimplicity/saved/BkDyXL This is a great budget Gaming PC which is perfect for KSP Ryzen Multicore? Check. Good graphics card for 1080p? Check Dual Channel Ram? Check. Pre-built PCs with the same specs are usually rather expensive, but if you have the right guides on the internet, buying the parts for a computer and assembling them yourself in usually a lot cheaper. Plus, it's fun and you learn a lot about electronics. Either that, or check out TechFast Australia on eBay. They have some good cheap pre-built PCs. Regards from a fellow Australian, RS
  14. Aircraft: Delta if it has a delta wing, K-### for fighters and Gullaby for stupid looking planes. For Rockets: Some Greek or Roman Mythology name like that used in NASA’s rockets or put a K in front of the words eg. Kapollo (Though my real moon missions are called Artemis)
  15. I feel like this would destroy the point of going to Mun in the first place. People won’t learn how to get to the mun (or any other similar bodies) and people won’t celebrate when they land on it. The point is, it will ruin the challenge. One of the game’s original challenges. I hope it doesn’t come to PC
  16. Played it- It's great! no flaws, no bugs, and it's perfect if you are interested in giving the KSC a new look.
  17. No. Plays Kerbal Space Program on their mom’s old computer and hasn’t seen the light of day for a fortnight.
  18. Thank you for the compliment! Now, your bill... $499 Visa, MasterCard or PayPal? Waiter, there’s a 1972 Holden Kingswood in my soup!
  19. DCS recently released World 2.5. They have pretty active updates keeping the game up to date.
  20. It turns out KK has issues working with Physics range extender in recent updates according to the forum page. Thanks for your help! @4x4cheesecake
  21. The output.log should be the right one now 4x4cheesecake. I opened Easy Vessel Switch and it went like this: EVS/Plugins/MiniAVC I have deleted it and am going to see what happened. If it isn't fixed i will delete BDA and download it manually like you said, but BDA did seem to be working well before I installed EVS and a few other mods like Mechjeb. EDIT: It didn't change anything... Will try uninstalling BDA and PRE and see what happens.
