You aren't the one who finished their construction project today, man.
I've finally finished building my Extraplanetary Launchpad base on Ceti by adding fuel storage module (and 2 more mining excavators):
Even without extra drills, that thing had a dry weight of ~70 tons and took ...awhile to construct. Now I can store whooping 26k liquid fuel, 280k liquid hydrogen, 51k oxidizer, 12k monopropellant, 12 800k argon and 45k xenon to quickly fuel-up whichever ship I decide to build there (I still need to fill those tanks, of course)
Stock parts me, first career ever

I finished my Minmus refueling station....kind of
And did give my core staff a day off for a social team building program... needless to say everybody was thrilled!
After a Minumus Landing (Flag Planting) - SolFlyby - Mun Orbit - Kerbin Land .... there are now 17 new 3-star Kerbals available for duty -
Yesterday .... (sorry hehe), I managed to build my first SSTO worth that name!
(Yeah, yeah, don't compare it to other stuff posted here. But hey, it's my first )
Ready on the runway:
Accidentally, I got the orbital meeting with my kerbin space station just in time to get a screeny with the sun, mun, kerbin SS and the SSTO in one shot
Now as it is docked and fueld up...I am thinking if I should land it on Kerbin (I have done a "fuel-almost-empty-start-and-landing-test" before the real start). Or.....if I should fuel it up completely and go for outer space???
But TODAY, I decided to actually try and land it, to test the reverse rocket engine I have put on it's nose to see if it will help me bleeding off excess speed without multiple atmospheric breaking maneuvers...
I will post the result soon ... hopefully.... (The thrust of the reverse nose engine is not exactly through the COM. Urghs) -
Today I went into spaced mode and built my first "spaced out rocket"
It actually does what it's supposed to, in a Kerbal way (slightly overpowered)
Enough dV to go places....but nothing really to do there...so I sKipped that part
Landed well, Valentina was just a bit lazy with the trajectory.
Does anyone know if this actually influences the aerodynamic drag? -

Welllllllll.......llll.... I might be up for 3 or 5 laps...
I know after six I would be too pumped with adrenalin
For tracks...do you want to stay on the KSC grounds?
Maybe define a max distance for each track/lap ? (Or someone...someone....might come up with a pole to pole thingy or worse ) -
Aaaannd Yes!
Did it in under 1 Minute
Nighttime racing....highly recommended on this track!
The buggy is fully electric and all stock parts.
(I never got my belly button [COM] that low before hehe) -
I learned a bit more about wheel-settings
But it is slowly getting darker on Kerbin and Jeb needs to get something into his stomach, if he wants to or not!
His times are slowly getting better though
The windshield is a bit scratched by now -

~ Shameless promotion ~
I had a plan for today: Build a bigger, better, superimproved, asteroid-katcher!
Ermmmm, instead I did install the Races! mod, loaded @Triop 's track and built a new race buggy.
....Jeb doesn't want to get out of the car anymore, he seems very determined to get a good lap-time!
...which might take a while -
hmmm.... when (re)loading ksp with this mod I only get "Unsupported KSP Version - Use 1.2.1".
Ingame I don't see any controls or whatsoever from the mod. And I don't see any way to load the race track...
Running 1.4.5 also... (Other mods currently are MechJeb, KER, Alarms).
Did you uninstall all other mods for this? Or any other ideas?
Oh crap haha, got it....just had to load a vehicle first to get the interface/button...
Now, building a new buggy :-) -

It turns out that landing legs don't like it when you dock and the heaviest part is on the OTHER ship. Thanks to @bewing I was able to continue the mission without cheating or re-launching.
That is useful information!
Do you happen to know if it makes a difference if the landing legs are extended or retracted? Or all the same...?
My experience with wobbling space stations after docking another vessel to them: If I dock with only RCS but then instantly turn the SAS on again on the whole thing, once docking is done...the SAS then managed to get everything steady out again. -

Yah, was wondering why my miner was shaking wildly. It was only AFTER i made it all the way to orbit and tried to switch to another craft that I realized "Oh, it thinks im still on the ground. Well, back to main menu then back in." Fixed it, and now I'm launching *for real* this time.
Hmmm, other things the V2 miner is going to need... Moar Boosters are an option but I dont want to spend extra mass on Karbonite drills.
Edit: well, i have successfully delivered my first cargo of ore to the station. Need to go harvest more and look into making a much bigger ore miner/hauler. I'd like to have the onboard ore reserves full in less than 13-15 flights and over a year in-game.
This thing is doing very well on Minmus and I think, if you don't fill the ore tanks completely (it has lots of ore tanks), should work well on mun as well.
On Minmus, I can pick up a full load 2 to 3 times to my space station (refinery) without refilling the fuel tanks. -
Today I finished a "few days program"...as I had given myself (no wait, ...had given all the fabulous engineers from Kerbin...) the task to build the smallest plane I could (no wait....they could!)
Here we go:
and NO....it did not fly. Although the engineers sounded perfectly confident before...
So, step 2!
...and step 3! Liftoff...kind of....
Many explosions (Yes!! ) later...version 4 took off! (I mean...kind of really flew!??)
I guess to really call it an airplane..I should land it with more than just Jeb surviving....but most landings still looked like this:
Still, I am going to call it a success! Kerbal wise at least...
Before I try landing this again though...I am going back to my career game and do some missions to get at least some of my self confidence back
PS: I learned that delta wings are not actually symmetrical -

Well, I can only figure out my time for the rover race part.
02:04:00 until 02:26:02 = 22min02sec
The flight time is lost, as the one pic is on MET....I would have to fly again and take a new time
Can I get a rating for only the ground part? (kind of like....begging....hrhr) -
I decided to take a break from my first ever (career) game in ksp and startet my first ever sandbox game to copy this save file into....
...so many firsts...
- first ever sandbox game
- first ever challenge to take on
- first ever cargo plane to transport a rover
- first ever rover delivered by cargo plane
I am very pleased with the result
Edit: Just saw I had MET on on the landing shot...sorry about that, just write "ridiculously long anyway" -
Well, this was not exactly all today, but today Jeb and his friends finally landed back on Kerbin,
after their first successfull landing on another planet! Yes, we did Duna for the first time!
...save landing back home...
As the window was there, 3 rockets actually went there and were able to setup the first relay network for Duna, as well as bringing a surface scanner that did polar Duna survey followed up by Ike. All seems ready for colonization on the next transfer window
Ah yes, and now my science is DONE!
Bank account is full enough with over 20 million, so I consider this the start of my "20 million career-mode-sandbox" game
Happy days to all of you as well -
Sunrise approach for 7 Kerbals after a tourist mission of:
Kerbin - Minmus landing - Kerbol(sun) orbit - Mun landing - Kerbin landing
First time I managed to land at KSC -
It was decided that there can never be too many electrics components installed....especially when the kerbal administration just approved the request for a full blast cinematic theatre!
So everybody gathered and a group photograph was taken just before it was realized that Bill had forgotten to install the TV screen... -
My Minmus Space Station is growing...
The second miner (upgrade) has landed near the first one...
Now we are talking ore -

I think you have a clairvoyant gift. KSC is flooded now.
Well.... I happen to live in the tropics...
But is this a glitch, or rather an easter egg of the mod? Who knows....
Your kerbals all right?
I hope they all got to the roofs... -
Compared to most posts here, I feel pretty "low tech". But hey....
Leeford is enjoying the tanning-studio-deck
While Jeb is thinking: This docking situation might have been a bad idea from the beginning???
But it worked out! 13 docking ports ready for future sub-assembly-storage, fuel transfers, crew transfers, a better-tug-than-this-little-shii, and whatever I can think of in the future....
Edit: Jup, the angles are a bit off -

One or the other had already high water. For me at the moment is low tide at KSC.

The flow check mark only affects engines (and other sinks) drawing fuel or not.from the source. It does not prevent "pumping" with In and Out. Of The resources you have open, either one and only one can draw in (from all the others), or one can pump Out to all the others that are open. You cannot simultaneously move fuel from multiple tanks to multiple other tanks. Can require a bit of strategy in figuring out how to proceed. Sometimes warp while you do it can be your friend (and wards off the Kraken at the same time).
OK, that totally makes sense.
Thank you for this info.
Need some fuel? -
I am happily confused today.....confused but happy....con... whatever!
Well, my Minmus miner works as a charm, with all its wrong tanks and stuff. I did a complete miscalculation on the dV-needs for landing (no ore) and starting (45 tons of ore), but luckily in the direction so that it now is way overpowered. Also I wasn't sure if those NERV engines would be any good for starting something heavy off of Minmus...but hey, here it goes:
Now...can someone please explain to me the secrets of fuel/ore transfer?
Is there a way to set more than one tank at the same time to "out"?
And, in the pic below, when I had the lowest tank on my miner empty, I thought I can have the window open with the tank on "stop" (switch the little green arrow to the red stop sign). But when I set the second tank (the middle on on the left side of the pic) to "out", the one I thought I had disabled startet filling up again with all the others anyway.
Seems to only work by not opening the windows of those tanks I really don't want to fill up...?
Also weird: On one occasion I opened the windows of only a few tanks, set only one to out and startet filling the others. As soon as they were full, the other one didn't stop emptying itself...I have no idea where to?
Well, this whole fuel/ore transfer concepts is a bit of a magic thingy to me...I will read into it. -
Wellllll,
after my first ever mining attempt...at the mun yesterday (only because of a contract...mun gravity makes mining there so useless anyways)...I started a mining project on Minmus today.
Much bigger, more advanced contraption (I thought).
So, getting myself to new personal records again...a lifter able to put 140+ tons into space (totally new for me...totally expensive in my first ever career mode game...but money is easy on normal difficulty).
Anyways, I made so many engineering mistakes again (learning curve!!!!). Have fun looking at the pic and telling me why the heck I lifted all those tons of oxidizer while using nerv engines on the lander/miner
Well, before I went to mining on Minmus I dumped all that Oxidizer on the space station above Minmus...still carrying those tanks around which I could have switched to pure fuel tanks without oxidizer. Also I am not sure that Nerv engines are the best choice to lift stuff from Minmus up to the space station there...but I will try.
It still looks better and performs better than that silly miner I put on the Mun yesterday
Have fun counting my engineering mistakes on this one:
Edit: There are 3 large 1500 ore tanks in the middle of this thingy...lets see how much of that I will be able to lift up to the space station 50ks above....
What did you do in KSP1 today?

@Kebab Kerman
Maybe you should make sure that the game is actually running on your AMD Radeon.
If the correct driver-package was never installed for it,
or if an update has messed things up,
KSP might actually be running on the inbuilt (very bad) graphics-capabilities of your intel CPU.
Happened to me not only once to have bad experiences in games until realizing it was not running on my laptops GPU (which was physically there!), but just using the CPU-graphics....
