@The Doodling Astronaut it is. I’ve tried it before and it not easy. @Ben J. Kerman great animation by the way!

Thank you!!! Do you like the music I chose, or should I use something else?

(Yes, it is hard. I am afraid that every time I leave my room I will hit something with the door when I open it and I will need to start all over again! I probably won't do my next animation so close to the door.)

  5. You have reached 200 posts! Congratulations!! :D

You are also almost to 500 rep points!

      Oh hey your right! Thanks!

      Spoiler

I would like but the forums say: YOU HAVE GIVEN TOO MANY REACTIONS TODAY :(

  6. I modified my crawler crane and made it into a demolition excavator.DSCN3767.jpgDSCN3769.jpgDSCN3771.jpgDSCN37722.jpg3248_9201896687309.jpg

it would be cool if it could destroy a Lego building

I will make a stop motion video. Unfortunately, I don't think I can make a tall building, but I can make a small house for the excavator to demolish.

  7. I reached my goal!!! 5 Subscribers on my YouTube channel before the end of this month!

Thank you everybody on the forum who subscribed! :D

I remember sharing a video here and I went from 10 to 20 subscribers in a day. What's your channel so I can check it out?

My channel is called "Ben Huntington".  My profile picture is, you guessed it, a crane. Specifically a Liebherr rough terrain crane.

  8. The complete version of my stop motion video! A total of 531 pictures were taken in the process of making this. A lot of work and time goes into stop motion productions. It's somewhat long and can sometimes be frustrating, but it's worth it.

      Nice man!

When I tried lego animation, I just never managed to make them look right. They always never looked good :/

  9. I am still working on it, and it's not finished (That's what I mean by "I'm still working on it" ), but this is what I have so far for my new video.

I know I move the camera around a little too much and that the way the people walk is a little weird, but it's only my 1st time doing stop motion.

  10. My first attempt at stop motion.

I know the video quality is horrible, and the picture keeps moving up and down, but all I am using is the camera on my laptop. I have a regular digital camera and mini tripod around somewhere, I just need to find them. The pillow is there because I was setting up a Lego luffing jib tower crane, and if it fell over it wouldn't completely crack open and spill BBs (The counterweight) everywhere.

Sorry my room is such a mess, I'm working on it.

  11. I made more modifications to my mini Lego crawler crane. I added a luffing jib to increase the lift radius and/or height, a tilting cab to increase operator visibility, and a rear ballast carrier to increase the capacity. The ballast carrier is filled with BBs,  just like the standard counterweight on the main crane superstructure. I will try to post better pictures soon. I found the cord, but now I don't know what I did with my iPod touch!

Note: An iPod touch is almost the same as an iPhone. One of the only differences is that you can't call. You can still use FaceTime though.

      Thanks!

In the first picture to the right (See a vehicle with a white cab?) is my jobsite utility vehicle thing. It has a loader bucket/plow on the front, and a dump bed on the back. It can also be equipped with an aerial work platform (cherrypicker), excavator arm, just a regular flatbed, or whatever you want - Technically, whatever I want since I have it . I adapted it from a Lego streetsweeper.

  13. https://www.dropbox.com/s/6n0h068vi4l9tii/Lego LR 1000 Crawler crane load chart.xlsx?dl=0

This is my mini Lego crawler crane. The reason it is so small is because it started out as a medium sized excavator (And I can switch it between crane and excavator in a minute or 2), and because I don't have bigger tracks. I am also working on a load chart for it, so I know how much I can lift in different configurations. The load chart is still a work in progress, and I just thought I might share this with you.

I used fishing wire as cable for the hoist and luffing winches, and the rear is hollow and filled with BBs as counterweight. The only problem is that if it falls over and breaks, I have a LOT of BBs to clean up. Sorry the photos are so bad, but I used the built in camera on the laptop I am on and not my iPod touch because I didn't have a cord with me to sync the files.

  14. Rate my cover photo on a scale of 1-10.

    1 - It sucks!:(

    3 - Not good.

5 - Meh, not bad, but not the best.

    7 - I like it.

    9 - Really good!

    10 - Awesome! :D

The things on the photo include the Kerbjet 45, Kiebherr KTM 1120-4.1, Kiebherr KTM 1300-6.1, Kiebherr KRT 1090-2.1, KerbalKran Industries GKR-978B, Perseverance rover, Kania R235 tractor-trailer, the KT50L Kerbal lift (Manlift, sometimes called a boom lift or cherrypicker), and that vehicle in the background to the right is my KerbaLift KFL 300E Forklift. It wasn't really supposed to be there.
