    I got to tour a Halifax-class ship once. It was fun. (HMCS Toronto, to be precise.)

    KSS Intrepid; the kind of ship that, when you launch it, the universe slows down to watch. :P

    It bothers me more than it should that "Intrepid" is all-lowercase in the decals.

    Could be Kerbulan ballistics are gyrojet. Reduced recoil, still good velocity. Don't need much oomph to punch through a hull (or a spacesuit). And if he's using a sidearm, he can reach a leg holster. Maybe they just aim by best guess? Laser sight? HUD? I'unno.

    Would two Jebs amplify the detonation? Like a fission explosion?

    I'm pretty sure you should keep them apart unless they are both firmly planet on the surface planetside. Two Jebs in one ship would probably cause some sort of explosion.

    Carrier? Carrier. Yay! Mort should be happy, though. A capital ship can be reused tons of times (a la Hermes), thus saving hardware costs on any interplanetary mission. Admittedly, tanker flights, but still.
