  1. Because the barn was bad. See bac9's criticism. http://i.imgur.com/onpH9fp.jpg
  2. Found my favorite feature in 0.90: It's the little things.
  3. So I tried to make a new launch site and uh. Site { name = us_nmspaceport displayName = US - New Mexico Spaceport PQSCity { KEYname = KSC latitude = 32.990278 longitude = -106.969722 repositionRadiusOffset = 1401 repositionToSphereSurface = false lodvisibleRangeMult = 6 } PQSMod_MapDecalTangent { radius = 4000 heightMapDeformity = 80 absoluteOffset = 0 absolute = true latitude = 32.990278 longitude = -106.969722 } } What did I do wrong? EDIT: It has something to do with absolute offset. Still getting weird results:
  4. Yeah. Last time I attempted the mission the Electric Charge and LS ran out. That and I think it adds to ~coolness~ points. It was a fun mission, they actually survived re-entry with the SM still attached! (Damn latch...) The lag is real... Falling at safe speeds now, the SM is just on fire. Then we splashed down and the Kraken ate them. May we never forget Bill, Bob, and Jeb; forever lost to NaN-space.
  5. We have to use the fuel in the lander to get home, but damn it, I made it!

  7. GUI key is ALT + E now. Speaking of the GUI, it's really overly big.
  8. Ok I found what caused the problem. The game dislikes it when you resize the mesh to be bigger than Jool. EDIT: So long as you stay near the template's radius the sun issue goes away too. Though that might be because I used EVE and gave my gas giant a PQS system.
  9. Anyone know why the scaledspace mesh + atmosphere of my gas giant likes to disappear when the camera isn't looking directly at it? I'm gonna assume it's KSP and not Kopernicus but fix/workaround if there is one would be nice.
  10. Agree completely. I try to avoid timewarp completely in RSS when I can. Shame the docking was the only successful part of the mission. Note to self: KAS winches are heavy and will screw up your COM when you need to do important things like de-orbiting and landing.
  11. RSS: Whoohoo! I don't think I've ever had to lower my relative velocity down to mm/s before. LV Image: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/56154768/KSP/RSS/screenshot41.png

  13. Here is Aha's config. @Kopernicus { Body { name = Aha flightGlobalsIndex = 31 Template { name = Jool } Properties { description = What? radius = 12600000 mass = 4.73535382e+24 geeASL = 1.2 } Orbit { referenceBody = Sun color = 0,0,1,1 inclination = 2 eccentricity = 0.2 semiMajorAxis = 704000100092 longitudeOfAscendingNode = 0.6 argumentOfPeriapsis = 0 meanAnomalyAtEpoch = 0 epoch = 0 } ScaledVersion { Material { texture = KopernicusExamples/Aha/Aha_mainTex rimColorRamp = KopernicusExamples/Aha/ramp_blue rimPower = 2.06 rimBlend = 0.3 } } Atmosphere { lightColor = 0.109,0.108,0.643,0 ambientColor = 0.106,0.107,0.335,1 } } }
  14. Just a note, making planets via config is and has been already mostly implemented: Texture for Aha stolen from Nova Sillisko's Alternis Kerbol. No PQS systems yet but there's nothing stopping you from setting up a basic config.
  15. Because people totally will read some text when it's easier to close out the warning and play. Right? s/
  16. Seriously? You're doing it wrong augustus.
  17. What's so wrong with FAR? Just make planes that look like actual planes. Boom. It's that easy. Anyways I'm glad planets are receiving some well needed attention.
  18. Not true. The config parameters are mostly in place. That being said I don't think PQS has config nodes yet. Hopefully I'm wrong.
