  1. This is pretty great, thanks! I love the look of RT antennas but sometimes I just can't be arsed to put the effort into dealing with satellite constellations and such. Much appreciated!
  2. I seem to be having issues with the Reflectron DP-10- it breaks off in the atmosphere (which I thought it wasn't supposed to do) and my craft doesn't seem to be actively using it (the probe loses connection after going out of the range of the built-in antenna. Am I missing something? Alternatively: is there a way to disable the features of RT but keep the parts as standard antennae? I really dig the look of huge dishes on my crafts, but I don't particularly care for the hassle of setting up comm networks and such. I tried just deleting the RT .dll, but that seems to break all the regular antennae.
  3. One more thing I'd like to see fixed- radiators break instantaneously upon contacting the atmosphere. And I don't mean they break at 25-30km like solar panels do- I mean that they break at 69km, the instant the craft enters the atmosphere. It's a small thing, but I've broken radiators multiple times because I triggered the action group when I was at 68km or something like that, assuming that it would be safe.
  4. Dumb question, but how do I get my heatshields to be aerodynamically stable with FAR? I have a rover and skycrane hidden behind the 6.25m inflatable heatshield (I'll be dropping it on Duna, but right now I'm testing on Kerbin) and as soon as I hit any substantial atmosphere, even before I start getting reentry effects, my craft flips around and exposes the rover to the airstream, with predictable results.
  5. It's too bad this came out now- if it was earlier you might be able to get it integrated into B9 5.0 itself! Fantastic work, though.
  6. Definitely supporting an alternative to Kethane without restrictive licensing or spyware. I'll keep an eye on this one!
  7. Downloading immediately, because apparently "people don't want to opt in because they don't want to send info to a random website" isn't clear enough for some people.
  8. I love your IVAs. Keep up the fantastic work!
  9. I wish there was a way to have the glow from the Mun like from the other packs, but without it appearing so hazy up close that it looks like you can use parachutes. The haziness of the glow on bodies that don't have an atmosphere is frankly ridiculous, especially with Proot's pack (and Astronomer's, to a lesser extent.)
  10. Oh my gosh, this looks amazing. I'm keeping an eye on this for sure.
  11. The biggest thing I don't like about this is Minmus- all the rest of the atmospheres are fairly reasonable and look fantastic, and then Minmus has that absurd dense fog that totally breaks immersion for me. It's not even the density of it that's the biggest issue- it's that the color of the glow/fog is so intense yet Minmus itself is pretty desaturated. Just my two cents.
  12. I could see Vall having a thin whitish atmosphere thanks to cryovolcanic water vapor eruptions caused by tidal forces, kinda like Enceladus and Europa do. But I'm not sure I want Laythe to change too much- I don't really want to change appearances entirely, just enhance them. I think it's okay as is.
  13. I agree that the parts feel "flat", almost like dev placeholder textures. Compare the way the standard parts (or the B9 parts) look to these- these are almost cartoonish, with flat shading and no "texture" to the surfaces. The IVA work is fantastic though- I'll keep an eye on this for sure.
  14. Does this include Astronomer's pack? Those cloud textures are fantastic.
  15. Oh wow, this looks great. Thoughts on the crew tank: Windows are an obvious must-have- but to fill the empty space without blocking the windows, maybe have some basic instrument panels (but no controls), or cargo boxes bolted to the floor. At first I was thinking about tables like on a train, but then I realized that they wouldn't work too well in space. Looking forward to seeing how this improves!
  16. Here's a thought- could we make the IR telescope work in the mid/upper atmosphere, even if it's just a low amount of science? I want to recreate SOFIA.
  17. Is there any way to fix the science lab IVA so you can see out of the windows? I've seen a video where the windows are transparent, but mine always has a flat blue texture on the portholes.
  18. Is there any tutorials for using this plugin? I just installed it because I've seen some really neat stuff done with it, but there's so many parts and I'm lost on where to start and how to use it.
  19. Is there any way to have a Kerbal take the data from the magnetometer, like other science parts? As is, you have to either transmit or keep it, which makes it useless for further science.
  20. Actually, I can't see jack **** because it's nighttime. But the problem for me was that the telescope needed to be directly mounted on the helium tank, and both have to be powered.
  21. Yeah, and over time the smoke particles should get bigger- but it's looking fantastic so far!
  22. For what it's worth, I discovered yesterday that crashing into Gilly at orbital velocity isn't enough to record as an impact.
  23. I can see the flares just fine, but the actual mesh for any planet that's too far away seems to be invisible (i.e. Jool). I think that's a stock game thing though.
