Launch to rendezvous (and docking as a result) and designing viable planes, both space & terrestrial. That said, I fly FSX so I'm used to planes flying like actual planes (roll affecting heading, yaw induced roll, the ability to sideslip, etc.) something that KSP planes don't do at all.

Is this what a launch will look like with the new Aerodynamics in 1.0?
djnattyd replied to Caelib's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I use FAR so I always do my gravity turn at either 100m/s or 1KM, whichever comes first (usually 1KM since my launch vehicles are woefully underpowered) -
Full overcast skies here in Sheffield (north of England), couldn't even see the sun never mind the eclipse.

I absolutely hate the fact that people hate things. Edit: I also hate the fact that my game refuses to load when I have a VAB load of mods installed. However, I take full and complete responsibility for this.

Brilliant

Stock KSP is seriously stable, problem is, I use mods and due to this my current install crashes every 3rd time "launch"/" recover vessel"/"go to space Centre" screen is selected.

Holy Information Screen Overload Batman!

1.0 is bringing with it the ability to warp to apo/periapsis while Kerbal Alarm Clock already handles the rest perfectly and has the added bonus of allowing you to set an alarm for an event in the real world.

How long is your average KSP play session?
djnattyd replied to ShadowZone's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Given how unstable my current install is, anywhere from "Ooh look, the loading screen finally ap... Oh, it's crashed" to a few hours. -

Stockalike RF Engine Configs v3.2.6 [01/20/19][RF v12]
djnattyd replied to Raptor831's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hey Raptor, quick question; does your most recent config support the new FTMN engines? I've installed both of them and your config but haven't actually been able to get in game to see if they work (RAM overload, CTDs, Weird load locks, etc) and given that I'm now at my mod limit, knowing whether they work or not will help me decide on where to start culling my install. -
I'm also running an Athlon X2 with no issues (save the RAM overload) BUT... I recently swapped out my old ATi 3450 for an R9 270, before I did that I was getting huge FPS drops just on the space Centre screen with low settings. Contrary to popular belief, GPU power does indeed affect KSP performance quite a bit. To test this I downclocked my CPU to 1ghz and while the physics processes were slower on large part counts, the frame rate didn't change from when it was running at the full 2.3ghz. I then switched back to my 3450 with the CPU at 2.3ghz and the game was unplayable. - - - Updated - - - I bought KSP after playing the demo... That was based on 0.13, THOSE were outdated graphics.
-
I recently found that if you click the 'delete' button to delete a save game and then click anywhere else on the screen, the confirmation window goes behind the save-gane selection window and can not be brought back into focus. This also stops the ability to exit to the title screen or the selection of any other option without Alt+F4-ing out of the game.

This is brilliant! -
Your video is missing

I've given the 24-77 a gimbal range of 45° so it acts more like a vernier and I've put a decoupler module on the LES
-
I bought KSP on the same day that 0.19 went live but as I'm maxing out my RAM due to all the mods I run, I launch using the EXE rather than Steam (WHY DOES IT USE SO MUCH MEMORY?!) I can't even give a rough estimate of the cost per hour.

[1.3.0] Mobile Frame System [MFS] (v0.3.3) [29.05.2017]
djnattyd replied to riocrokite's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm at my limit of what I can install but I *need* this for stuff and things. At this rate I'm going to have to uninstall all the stock parts and just use mods o_O -
The missing petal isn't actually missing, the lander stopped operating during its deployment stage which resulted in the petal with the RF antenna on remaining in the closed position.

Could be worse, they could send Val Kilmer or Gary Sinise...

Opportunity and Curiosity are too far away to make the deviation from their own missions worth it.
