  1. The US also has an active manned space program, they just decided to go along with a gap between the shuttle program and new space capsules. It was also a political decision. They could have stayed with any of their historic launchers as well. Which space agency or nation won what is just a matter of perspective but humanity itself sure won the most by entering the space age. Btw. none of the old links worked for me but I could find it on another site. It's a good documentary!
  2. Hmm.. I didn't think about that. Thanks, maybe I'll make one!
  3. We have a nice weather here. Too bad I don't have anything to watch it with.
  4. A crewed flight would be without fairings, yes.
  5. Kerbal Inventory System. It's a new mod from KospY, who created KAS. Here, check it out: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/113111-0-90-Kerbal-Inventory-System-%28KIS%29-1-0-0
  6. Maccollo, could you tell me the size (width) of the core tanks? I'm trying to set up tweakscale modules for them. Nice job on the new parts by the way!
  7. I'm starting to like the orange tank. It looks very good in this mod so far.
  8. The Castor LARJ engine has 9350s of vacuum ISP and only requires 2.7ec/s. That's... strange. I don't remember ever using it to be honest. Is that intentional or something is wrong on my end?
  9. This is very nice! Are you also planning to make an LRV type rover or are you sticking to closed rovers?
  10. I really like it! Is there a way to attach parts to the surface itself? I think by default I can only drop everything.
  11. I'll definitely try it, thanks! I always assemble a kind of Alsep from stock parts using KAS to leave on the Mun. KIS seems to be even better at this.
  12. To be honest I've never needed two kerbals on the Mun for EVAs but for ferrying them to a Mun base a two seat lander is better of course. The LK is actually a good reusable lander for lunar orbital stations. (By EVAs I mean doing something useful and fun with KAS on the surface, not just jumping around.)
  13. I think it's been decided that ATK will also make the advanced SRBs.
  14. This is no surprise in the current situation. Where did you read it?
  15. I think this is perfect. It's good that you have decided to use the actual colors.
  16. We know... but so far everything went well.
  17. Nice launch. The Atlas V is truly a fine rocket.
  18. The more science gathering possibilities we have, the better. (I think.)
  19. Yes, this time it's planned. Not a new thing of course. I always do it with my friends. I used to miscalculate the timezone difference but with the strict rules for launch nothing is sure anyway.
