  1. It's really not something what fits into my 'game-plan', but even if it is not going to hit my GameData folder, I have to say this mod is awesome. Kudos!
  2. I just started another fresh save with RemoteTech also added (going for more realism this time), and besides the big thanks for this mod, I have a small bug-report: pressing the button to hide all UI (which I usually do for screenshots), the interfaces connected to RemoteTech are not hidden (the open Flight Computer window on any screen, and the small grey satellite icon and the added UI elements in the bottom right corner in map view). Also one nice thing would be, if the window for the Flight Computer would remember its position instead of appearing every time at its default location. Minor things, but maybe for the next update, keep in mind
  3. Possible minor bug report: I am not sure about this, but is it possible that when you recover a vessel from the Tracking Station view and not immediately after splashdown/landing, the mission count does not get updated? I have a few Kerbals with mission number 0 while they definitely went on a mission (and have ribbons and they have returned). I have done this like 2-3 times, and I think this might be the reason... Great mod in any case!
  4. Actually, I totally agree, and in my own cfg I have a 1.6x multiplier... (punished by a resourceConsumptionRate = 1.0 instead of 0.65... I just pack two extra solar panels...)
  5. Actually, as far as I understand, since this wheel is a rescaled (0.75) version of the original RoveMax Model 1 wheel, to keep the characteristics of the original wheel in terms of how much force is produced parallel to the surface at the point of contact, the original torqueCurve should be multiplied by 1/0.75 = 1.33. Now since the smaller scale did not result in weight reduction, we can easily assume that the extra weight is in a more complex and more powerful (thus relatively heavier) engine component in the wheels, which is in line with this proposed increase in torqueCurve values. For further balancing, I think that the power consumption should be more or less the same as the non-rescaled (lower weight versus more torque cancels out), and also the break force needs to be rescaled similarly. This is no problem if you put 2 single solar panels at the back
  6. This is indeed extremely fun to take along in KAS containers, and to assemble on the spot, but it would be really nice to have a bit more traction (thus better acceleration), because just a bit of a slope on the Mun, and it is impossible to climb it... But except for this, it's really cool
  7. Question: would installing TAC life support on an existing save be a problem? Should I return all Kerbals from flights, or for example, existing ships (capsules) would simply start from that point on with the standard life support supplies, meaning that I could wait with returning the Kerbals as long as the supplies last? (The furthest Kerbal I have now is on the Mun, so it would not be such a risk)?
  8. I think they look awesome no matter how much connection they have with reality!
  9. Can you tell me exactly what do I need to edit to include these things?
  10. Such a shame these parts are is not getting more recognition! With the new NASA parts, I was completely shocked how badly they work together with the original Rockomax barrels. With these parts, my aesthetics are back to where they should be. Thanks a lot, they look great. Maybe two small suggestions: 1) move this to the release thread, and update the name with [Part] [0.23.x] ... maybe it gets more recognition there. 2) Since your tanks are a tiny bit bigger and heavier, maybe they should contain a tiny bit more fuel too. (More or less half of the extra weight should be fuel as a rough first estimate...)
  11. I like to come back to KSP after a few months and discover such beautiful parts
  12. I would actually also like to have them just as a separate download... (same reasons as abowe)
  13. Ok, I did rescale the 8k to 4k, and so far I did not manage to break things graphically, which is great But the log is still full with those lines... Does the low-res release only differ in the Kerbin cloud resolution, or should I try that too? In any case, I can live with a spammed log, but not without the clouds
  14. So by rescaling to 4k I should be fine? I will try!
  15. Hey rbray89, I have not been active for a while (since working on the first 8k NASA clouds back in December...), but now I am getting back to KSP, and I can not live without your clouds. But I have a serious problem (all this with clean install, no other mod, and the clean install running without issues): At the very beginning, everything works perfectly, but after a few scene changes, my cloud layer start to show graphical glitches, and also already from the start, my log file is filled with hundreds of lines saying "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". See example screenshots below, and I also put a .log file here: http://ster.kuleuven.be/~peterp/KSP/KSP_Apr182014201647.log Maybe an idea what can be going wrong? Not a memory issue for sure, the game without other mods is running at around 1.2 GB... Is it just me, or anyone else have seen similar issues? It is now very difficult to live without this mod
  16. As soon as the internals are done, I am definitely adding this to my favourites!
  17. Yes, I totally agree, but with http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/34631-0-23-Bolt-On-Screenshot-System-%28BOSS%29-v2-1-4 you can make higher resolution screenshots If it is much work, then don't bother, but if it is not much of a hassle for you, then please (please please) PM me with a link to the higher res version
  18. Nice work, I only have one wish: could you export your skybox in 2x this resolution and in PNGs? (If not for the package, just for me )
  19. A very nice Jool texture (not mine) from the Artwork Forum: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/74876-A-little-Jool-texture-I-m-working-on-RELEASED%21 I thought it would be a shame if people would not see it here. Has a great stock feel, still fresh and different!
  20. Great, but can you maybe save it in PNG instead of jpg? Quality is much better that way... (And of course I mean, export your original as PNG from GIMP/PhotoShop - whatever you were working with -, and not just saving your jpg as PNG )
  21. It is pretty, reminds me of the style of the Jool in the Alternis Kerbol system. I am interested
