Sweet! I actually forgot it was Tuesday!

Have also liberally been putting tooltips on everything.

Much needed!

I’m worked on something we can give a massive announcement with, it’s already done and you will see the aforementioned announcement.

Tease :D

As for the editor we are changing the way parts are displayed, slightly. Instead of the old tabs where you get a fixed amount of parts on each page and have to flip back and forth, we are a adding a scrollable parts list.

Sounds cool. QuickScroll is one of my must-install mods. While you're tinkering, if you happened to implement multiple (and negative) filters I'd be pretty happy. Right now, you can't find LF only tanks. You can find all tanks that have LF in them, but can't filter out the ones that also have O in them.

I’ve been doing the usual production tasks, one of which has been following your feedback about the Relays and Antenna improvements. The level of detail and constructiveness has been great and RoverDude and I have been discussing the feedback and he’s been incorporating it into his designs and developing some prototypes to explore the ideas.

And I'm now more excited to try it.

I guess I'm in the "smaller channels as well" category. :/

Scrollable parts list sounds great. I've been using a mod to do that for ages, it's so much more convenient.

Something you can make a big announcement about? *crossess fingers and hopes it's a feature I've been wanting for ages, like procedural surface objects of Interest*

So...uh? Who is it? Is that a secret? Someone we know? Bill Nye? :D

Yes, rushed here from Facebook expecting to help get the welcome started. Oh well, all in good time.

Jim (Romfarer)

Work continues on the upgraded editor and application launcher. As for the editor we are changing the way parts are displayed, slightly. Instead of the old tabs where you get a fixed amount of parts on each page and have to flip back and forth, we are a adding a scrollable parts list.

Interestingly, when ObiVanDamme did the new version of OSE workshop, some people (including me) kept running into problems with freezing and crashes, mainly having to do with heavily modded games with lots of parts, so, um, just letting you know to watch out for that.

Of course though, it could be an Unity 4 issue, or maybe something with that mod.

Max (Maxmaps)

Hunt for a CM finally done! Was a long process but finally have someone who will help further tighten the relations between devs and players.

I thought Kasper was okay for a Community Manager.

As for the guessing who it is, one of the major modders around here?

I'm never was the community manager though, time restrictions would limit me too much during the academic year. I've looked after most CM things on a temporary basis since Rowsdower left, and I'm definitely looking forward to working with a new CM.

I guess I was thinking about the temporary basis thing.

IIRC it's been mentioned before they wanted someone "local" ie - from Mexico City?

Or otherwise close by maybe.

Any forumers around here from Mexico City or the nearby area?

Well Kasper sure didn't.

In fact, he's so tired, he forgot to hit the ground after falling out of bed.

That's why we call him the Flying Dutchman.

Lol! Good one. :D

Technically you are, but I'd be a bit surprised if they didn't add you to the pre-release group given how involved in the community you are. When they open up the "smaller" channel access I'm sure you'll be fine :) I say you should consider sending a message anyway.

Erm. I have 10.0 followers. :P

You meant 10,000 right? (why do some places use "." and some ",' its confusing)

Both are used as decimal separators, in some countries you use one and the other in some other countries, and either can also be a thousand separator. Obviously you wouldn't use comma as a thousand separator if you're already using it as a decimal point :P

Because I'm getting really confused, or maybe just getting old, would it be possible to add the employee's title next to their name in future DevNotes?

Example:

Max (Maxmaps) - Producer
