Well this is an update to this thread http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/130283-Catch-of-the-century-Class-E-asteroid-with-90-Ore

Basically i captured my first asteroid and it is a literal goldmine!

After 2 days of kerbin capture/ orbit fine tuning with 3 mammoth engines and 5 separately docked rcs nodes, I have finally stabilized kerbin's third moon XD .

You'll crash Kerbin's economy with this sudden influx of resources. Or you could just become the De Beers of Kerbin.

In all seriousness though, I have very little success in asteroid capture. It's like the Mars Curse, something always seems to go wrong when I undertake asteroid missions. I even lost a 3-man crew on a routine asteroid scouting mission (flyby, no capture) due to a horrific collision with said asteroid.
