@Ultimate Steve, it's pretty boring, it's a converted IRFNA-fuelled ICBM with a high TWR.

((like out)) .... but hum interesting combustion  ... ... ... (( § )) ... (make me ask is this a @ payload kind of "vulcan @ground/spacex @high atmo twist/torsade"  expulse kind of hybrid @launch ?) #ispNoIdea

interesting interesting

oh and this torsade/twist expluse just after take off  hum hum hum ; ) ; ) ; )

on sight it seem a little bit less efficient the firt seoncd after take off and much more efficient right after the first sec., i m curious about the mid/high atmo phases ;;;

  • 1 month later...

This launch is 6:41AM for me, i usually wake up at 6:30 or sometimes even 5:00 if i got some weird nightmare, so this is going to be a spectacular start of the day. Never seen a Vostochny Launch Before.

And, liftoff!

Their animation has gotten so much better as of lately.

They didn't really choose the best position of the camera on the animation, but it looks good.

Its a succesfull launch!

So far. Remember, we still have 7 total Fregat burns and 18 deployments (although the last burn is the de-orbit burn).

Well, its in orbit and safe from any danger.

Mostly. You never know... A lot of the early-mid Protons had upper stage failures. I realize this is neither a Proton nor the 60's, but there's always a chance for failure.
