My ship became debris after smaller craft seperated from it

After I decouple the smallar craft on top of this to collect science. Main ship became debris in Tracking Station. I can't control it. As you can see there are solar panels can generate power but still I can't control it. Why? (My KSP version is 1.3.1)

Edit: I found the problem. I mistakenly in control of Stack Seperator, not the ship. Sorry.

Nonsense!  I've done exactly what you did several times, I'm sure most of us have at some point.

I wish the game would have options for how [ and ] work.  I'd love for the default to ignore debris, and something like Alt + [ or ] lets you scroll through the debris.

Mashing your keyboard in a futile attempt to control a discarded separator or some other piece of nearby junk is like a KSP rite of passage lol.

I'm with @Geonovast, why not give us options to ignore non-controllable parts?
