SRB...Or bust!

Recommended Posts

Use an SRB 1’st (Clydesdale Booster) and 2’nd (Any booster) stage to get into a kerbin orbit, Any kind of fuel and engine can be used on the third stage (Maybe a forth stage if you can) next, See if you can send a probe beyond Minmus orbit, Make sure it’s a comms probe for future missions (If you have planned) good luck kerbonauts!

So the challenge is to use a Clydesdale lower stage, any SRB middle stage, and any kind of upper stage to send a commsat... Somewhere?

Take a normal lifter, then instead of start with the lifter's rockets, have a Clydesdale at one side start and immediately detach then have sepratrons do the same but for second stage. Then use the lifter and take off. To make it safer, instead of having the boosters directly attached to the rocket, have a rig with 3 attachment points launch the boosters then the rocket. Easy.

If there's one thing I love about this forum, it's how people always take the rules and find every loophole. :D

Granted, this is a big loophole.

And about how stage 1 and 2 need to get into orbit, I'll just construct the rig in orbit using mods!
