How do i delete a post?

I want to delete a post, how do i do this???

You can't delete posts. You can, however, edit them and delete the content of the post, or report it to moderators and they may decide to make it go away.

Yep, hit that "report" button and tell us you want to remove your own post.

The preferred method is shown above.   Please use the report button and we’ll see if we can delete the post for you.    If somebody has quoted your original post, then it’s kind of pointless to attempt a delete.     Using things like [deleted] just draw attention to the fact you removed text.    If you want to remove text, just remove it until we can delete it.  No need to leave a banner pointing to that fact.
