That's really awesome. Mine is impractically large and heavy, but that looks right on the money. One issue I couldn't really get around was crew capacity. The real thing is supposed to carry up to 7, but I believe 4 will be the baseline.

Mine actually carries 7, there are MK1 command pods serving as the heatshield as well.

I was trying to make a custom mechanism with 4 big I-beams depleting from the surface of the tanks using sgt_flyer method but at more than 90° (> grid fin)

But it's real complicated, I might end up just strapping on a pair of LT-2 as MJ suggested.

Thanks Gus, your version got me brain inspired, it's a tricky design to replicate, and a nice challenge.

My Dragon can carry 2 crew btw.

If you build the whole thing out of wing parts, those sideways forces are neutralized. My planes fly like the real ones, except they don't stall.

It's actually fairly stable in flight, I can take off, fly, and land it.

Where's the other crew position hidden?

Where's the other crew position hidden?

There's one entrance each side, for balancing purpose .

Approach and Landing Test of my new spaceplane, "Clipper"

I didn't need to build an entire carrier aircraft, but I did.

Here we go!

Still falling pretty fast... Maybe I should have added a drag chute.

Oh well. This is why we test these things!

Fortunately, the two crew aboard survived the incident.

This is just insane. Incredible work.

Thanks! I try to cherish that insane side, makes me able to build good stuff with KSP lol :D

Normality is... boring

Incredible. What were the parts for the SpaceX logo(!)?

Looks like the small white structural harpoint for the X :)

Thanks, and indeed, that's a small hardpoint clipped, the SpaceX font makes it the most suited part.

I'm now convinced that sgt_flyer is a genius. Does it use his mini hinge of ant engine bells?

Is the triangle made from solar panels?
