Ouch. Yeah that's too much. And tell you what: steel beams are too heavy, I'd use struts instead. Using No Offset Limits you can slide the top of the towers down (or the bridge up) to connect struts, slide everything back and then you can go beyond the strut 10 meter limit.

Actually, I use NoOffsetLimits as well and struts to make procedural cockpits myself, like this one:

But I think I'll keep the steel beams, if I use the struts, they might be too.. thin. I'll give it a shot, though.

Working on a Juno with custom solar panels.

Are those science parts?

Thanks, it's actually pretty small, 4 meters width. It stretches through the entirety of the SPH, though.

I wish I had thought twice before using Mk1 Fuselages.. SRB cans would've saved me a lot of lag.

1839 parts is really, really insane.

1839? I think when your part count can be mistaken as a year, it's way too high. BTW, I think that puts you above zekes' shuttle.

This may sound stupid, but where is this No Offset Limit you guys are talking about? I had no idea such a thing existed! Imagine the possibilities:confused:...

I'm assuming it's in the Alt+F12 debug/cheats menu? I haven't seen it there.

Thanks in advance

So I was digging through my ships and found the B-24 I had built a while back, but never released it because I felt it was too inaccurate from the real thing -- It's too fat and such, as well as being ugly. And it is one hell of a clipfest.

The thing is, it flies. It can bomb targets like a B-17, albeit with more capacity, in fact.

Should I release it still, after a few revisions?

She's looking great Columbia! How much work still to do? Any issues?

Thanks! I was actually typing down the release thread for it and many other aircraft I developed when I saw your comment :)

It's actually finished, I just need to work on maneuverability (You need to pull out of a dive quickly) and handling. Otherwise, it's really fun to fly, actually!

It looks it! The shape is really good too. I will keep an eye out for it!

I've had no real KSP time this week. But I did make some refinements to the Kestrel. Sadly, now I'm left with an entirely useless bird of prey. Bad things happen above 30m/s. All those control surfaces reap havoc. And it seems surprisingly difficult to tag anything in its talons.

Lengthened the nose and subsequently need to rework the "head and face" completely. The profile was all wrong, too short a head for the body. But, the wings flap thanks to the magic of the spider engine so it looks like it flaps its wings, sort of.

Maybe add / extend dive brakes to slow the aircraft during a dive?
