<p>While the World Cup kicks off in Brazil, Squad is launching festivities up in the stars with an official mod pack and community competition centered around the familiar planet of Kerbin. It’s time to celebrate the Kerbin Cup!<br/><br/><a href="http://bit.ly/1jnBU9q"><strong>OFFICIAL MODPACK</strong></a><br/>Squad has released its first-ever official Kerbal Space Program modpack on Curse. The Kerbin Cup pack contains Kerbal-sized and rocket-sized <a href="http://i.imgur.com/lZfhPjA.jpg"><strong>SOCCER BALLS</strong></a> with the physics to match, as well as the flags of all 32 World Cup participating countries. It’s both a small token of gratitude and a way to capture the excitement of one of the world’s biggest sporting events, but in the grand stage that only space can provide.<br/><br/><a href="http://bit.ly/1pPqVuy"><strong>COMMUNITY COMPETITION</strong></a><br/>Represent your KSP community home and compete in the Kerbin Cup contest! Wont use it because I won't download anything from curse. Anything "exclusively" curse gets nothing from me.

Any chance for a mirror DL?

Oh, and I thought something like that was "not likely to happen" (that you can't get something (mod) anywhere else...) but SQUAD has made it so with their FIRST OFFICIAL MODPACK...only available on CURSED!

Dropbox, Mega, Google Drive, Spaceport 2 would have all gotten my download. Curse will never again. My opinion, my choice, my right...what does it matter to you Virtualgenius; other than trying to start an online forum fight?

Actually, the futbols are separators. The big one has visible attachment nodes and the small one, while the nodes are not visible, does attach.

Edit: Now I have a nice flag collection; thank you Squad!

I wanted to quickly comment on this post. It's absolutely your right to refuse to download anything from Curse and of course you can request a different download location, but I don't think your rant was all that justified otherwise. You're the one making the choice not to download from Curse which in my opinion means that you should also bear the consequences of it. Yes, if something is only available on Curse you won't download it, but that's your 'fault' and not Squad's. The general tone of your post does not seem to fit that way of thinking and is quite hostile, which I don't think is justified.

I don't know where you're getting a rant from what I typed Kasper...perhaps a bit of a misunderstanding of what Virtualgenius intention was of his post...but certainly no rant there. Just said that ANY other download location pretty much would get my download...but not Curse.

You (SQUAD) as a company want to force people to use Curse as a location to download their first OFFICIAL mod pack and I was asking if there were any other place to go to get it...and requested a mirror to somewhere else. No rant there at all. Not "blaming" anyone...though you sure want to blame me for not wanting to go to Curse. My choice for not wanting to go to any website hosted by curse is due to past history and I fully have that right.

On a side note, I was already given the pack by a friendly community member, so the mirror is no longer relevant to me...I was just doing it as a service for anyone else who doesn't want to use Cursed.

Ignath, Curse is our official partner and we encourage everyone to give them a try. With them being such, it makes sense that we would want to put it up there. Did you have a look at the license, though? There is nothing stopping anyone from alternative hosting, getting it from a friend or doing pretty much whatever they want with it.

Can these soccer balls we used kind of like the airbags that were developed in an ancient mod some time ago (forgot the name)? I would love to use these as cushion during moderate impacts.

No Rowsdower, I didn't have a chance to check on the license yet and I appreciate you letting me know what the restrictions were/are.

I guess my concern was brought from the graphic that said "ONLY ON WWW.CURSE.COM" I was not trying to cause trouble or anything, so I apologize for any issue my posts may have caused.
