I'm using this MM patch (the one that removes all restrictions in career mode) but the maximum length my tanks can be is still 8m. Do I need to name the .cfg something specific or do I need to put it in a specific folder?

As long as they are in the GameData folder or one of its sub folders it will be read by Module Manager

I have it in my general gamedata folder.  The patch I gave doesn't remove all restrictions, it just multiples them by a factor.  You can always update the factor in the patch if needed.  If you look in ProceduralParts/Parts/Tanks/1TankLiquid.cfg you can see how the mods "stock" increments step up.

I put together a proper release for Procedural Parts on my Github repository so that people don't have to mess with dropping the dll in. If you already grabbed the one from my dropbox link then you don't need this. Also notified linuxgurugamer so he can update CKAN

https://github.com/Starwaster/ProceduralParts/releases/latest

This is such good news. As someone who relies on their CKAN list to see what mods are updated I only recently started looking for PP because old craft would not load.

Maybe time for a new thread, since we've got a release? Thanks, Starwaster!

Might be a good idea to put the latest MM in it though

If you get your mods with CKAN that automatically happens as it is installed as a dependency.

I also noticed the MM which is download with the ZIP from Github was out of date.

Quick question, I am playing RO/RSS, and I am trying to use engines that require pressurized fuel. I see in the description of the procedural parts that they have an option to become pressurized, but I can't find the option.

Some pics for what I am talking about:

Do I need to install something, or am I just being blind?

UPDATE: I found it in the non-shielded version of the procedural tank, but not in the shielded version.

I actually looked carefully

@Rainbowd4sh When you right- click the procedural tank there should be a slider to allow you to change the tank type to "Service Module". If not then something is broken with your installation.

Yeah, there are two types of procedural tanks. The shielded one doesn't have that option, idk why. Perhaps it is something on my side, thanks for the quick reply.

The shielded version is supposed to represent aircraft - like fuselages but with higher maximum temperatures for shallow suborbital reentries (X-15 class). They only support unpressurized propellants so if you want to use hypergolics the engine must be pump - fed (gas or staged combustion cycles).

I see, thanks for the explanation.

Has anyone ever made a stockalike texture for Procedural Parts? Not like the Ven's Style tanks, but more inline with the Mk1 Fuel Tank or the default Mk1 structural fuselage?

try this.the stock grey fit well. forget the update, it works

The download link goes to KerbalStuff, so it's broken. Does anyone has a copy of those?

Here is a pack of all major texture packs for procedural parts. It includes the new one you want. I assume you can just delete the ones you don't want
