  1. i was just about to point out that this thread shouldn't evenHAVE a "0.23?" tag because it doesn't work with ksp 0.23 (well unlees you want really buggy tracks or tracks that sometimes work and sometimes don't for no reason at all) i'm glad the original owner is back although GalacticRuler did do agood job of getting the mod to (sort of) work with 0.23 i don't think he has actually done anything to fix the issues of the tracks not moving other than messing around with configs (after a coupleof us pointed it out) and try and figure out what's causing tracks to not work with other mods (which is pretty tough to do) anyway enough bad ranting... onto good ranting. Models: don't change em! they look gooooood! Tracks: if it'sthe Dll that needs changing i might take a peek... i didn'tthink to look at the dll at all o.o overall playablility: the tracks are useful.... but onlyforcertain things if you don't want "magic torque" to get in the way of theings. also the link tothe dropbox or whatever (the downlaod on the front page) is broken XD

  6. same... i'm just gonna have to attach it to my OTHER space station >.< oh and helldriver here's just a lil idea. how bout something like the Hubble telescobe that can fit inside the KSO. i've been fiddling around with lionhead aerospaces telescope but no luck so far
  7. to be honest most space labs look like they're on the ground until you see someone float by.

  9. EDIT: oops i think he means the ladybug. try putting a probe onto it and controlling it from there... mechjeb will do too. (this is what i usually do)
  10. uhm dudes your missing a VERY big point here... it's called surface attaching. the contaners and launchpad in baha drills don't do this. actually what i found out is that when the containers are full the little sticky out bits have their own colision meshes (when i was trying out a drill conected to a fuel tank it hit the top canister when it was full and dropped off....) so although it's a Great idea... it may not be the Best idea... but then again if you want fuel tanks that do that but you can't mount anything on them then go ahead. (oh wait that would mean you'd have to have the engine on the core module instead of the bottom of the side inflatable tanks... also it would have to take into account the different masses when the tanks are full and draining...)

  12. uhm does this work WITh mods? i'm sorry i have no clue what "works with KSPs default shaders" means... so does this like paint any part i have in game (mods etc) or just the default stock parts? sorry i'm not that good at understanding big words
  13. i'd say the best thing i've learned is to make a checklist... so many times i've come into kerbin orbit and forgotten parachutes... or even worse i burn too much and end up struggling to get it to speed up enough to glide with a space plane...

  15. geez how many mods are you running? i'm running 25 mods but i lag if i have a rocket with over 250 parts
  16. can you make that part into a download? and what type of engine is it? jet? rocket? Both? EDIT: oh i'm getting some werid "penguin waddle" on the runway when i try and fly this thing. with or without the wings with this pack ANd any other wing...
  17. no i don't think that would work. to make a fuel tank that size hit and also blow up/ catch fire on the said target it would just need to be dropped yes but from personal experience i've dropped oil drums filled with kerosene (plane fuel) and it just went "DONGING doing doing..." then rolled off trailing fuel (which i lit then saw pretty fires!) the only time i saw a barrel explode (catch fire) is in movies... also ksp would just make the fuel tank explode anyway and it would damage the armour in some way but i'm not sure if it would destroy a tank... well a tank with this armour plating

  20. i don't think you can make animated kerbals (unless you don't care about framerate) it does say "Static models" on the front page... EDIT: also for whoever is modeling... PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T MAKE THE KERBAL TWIN TOWERS! or i'll crash my space shuttle into them....

  23. not to be pushy or fanboyish but i hope you guys picked one linux, one Mac and one Windows OS type candidate... you know... so you see a bug that is in linux that isn't in windows or a problem in Macs and not in either linux (ubuntu) or Windows. (this may also give you some data/info on what's going on with the HUDs, also it may give you time to even out lots of bugs that are in all three operating systems and give the same sort of contect to all three OSes rather than what happened in phase one. oh i did get some progress on the HUD. if you replace all the Png files with the original rasta prop ones it works (strangly enough)
