  1. This was my Duna Base 2 years ago, not much but it was some good practice.
  2. I think there are only a handful of players that can prove to do something like this, I think this is an awesome accomplishment and it is the best Duna base ever until someone else proves otherwise.
  3. Sector 7 Space Laboratories - Sentinel - Alien Takeover After watching the 80's movie Top Gun recently, I really got pumped watching those Tomcats in action. After building my first F14 and sharing it on the WIP Thread I got some tips from other Kerbonauts which help make a better F14 than what I started with. Then one thing lead to anther and I decided to try my luck building an Aircraft Carrier to support the Tomcats. I remember seeing someones video making attempts to land an Aircraft on a Carrier so I decided to give it a try. Now I had my hands on what became the Sentinel Project. After hours of testing I landed a S7-F14 TomCat on the Sentinel Aircraft Carrier. The Sepratrons worked great for stopping power during landings and these landings needed precision timing, height and speed. This was such a ridiculous challenge for me and I just couldn't quit until I succeeded with a landing. This was very difficult, and if I had to guess I would say nearly 40 attempts were made for this successful landing shown on the Tutorial Video. Now with an Aircraft Carrier and Tomcats to present I decided to make a Video and Alien Takeover was the result. I have a few regrets about the Craft and Video but I really had to find a stopping point after so many hours going into it. Overall I do enjoy the work and hope you do also. 4. Looking really nice, try reducing the fuel for better maneuverability, that seemed to help with my F14. Very impressive looking Sub Adsii1970!
  5. Super neat idea for a project, incredible looking KSP - PC.
  6. Really nice craft builds this week! Great picks for the SCF Kapteenipirk, thanks for the second round.
  7. Yes they should be hard points and I wish they did't release from both ends, it should only release the item attached. I may add them for looks. Also I don't emphasize too much on replication. My Tomcats are S7 so there will be many differences, one will be a Rapid Fire Cannon that will be introduced with the projects release.
  8. Still working on my Sentinel Project, here is a view of my S7-F14 Tomcat with a full Bomb Load. When testing I was able to Destroy the VAB.
  9. Looks nice and ya funny! Now hand over the craft file!...lol
  10. "SENTINEL PROJECT" S7-F14 Tomcat Full Bomb Load (The test run destroyed the VAB)
  11. Been wanting to build one of these and I just got inspired again by one resently posted on KerbalX I was wondering if you were confused or just sporting a USA logo on the MIG, I know the MIG is not a US Aircraft, I was going easy on you. It seems hardball is prefered here. Keep your eyes on your HUD in the future.
  12. Thank you! and I am sure I had about 35 or more bouncing, smashing, crashing attempts and most were Catastrophic Failures
  13. So awesome! Really nice work on this one, this is one of my favorite craft ever.......MIG-15
  14. Thank you for the idea and the Danger Zone was the song that got blocked because of copy wrights, can't blame Mr. Kenny Loggins for that one!...lol. Believe it or not I went to school with his lead guitar player that is on tour with him, they have been together for a few years now. Also the craft with the afterburners at full throttle is taking off very nicely.
  15. Thank you, and yes very difficult, I am using Sepratrons for stopping power, its working out well. Also I've have recently tested doing a Takeoff while the Aircraft Carrier was underway at nearly 40 m/s and it was a challenge to stay on deck without the craft sliding off. I also attempted to land with the Carrier still near 40 m/s but no luck yet. Maybe at a later date I haven't been getting as much Kerbal time as I use to lately.
  16. Have you tired flying with an open Cockpit, like remove the heavy Cockpit frame to see it's performance? I'm thinking the speeds will increase a good bit
