A Popularity contest for craft I'm going to vote on a scoring system; 3-looks, As simple as it sounds like art ! 3-practicallity, 1 for making orbit 1 for making it docking & 1 for extra 3-Ability, 1 for how it fly’s 2 for how good it can do what it can do i.e. rescue/science/0g landing/get to Duna etc. etc. 1-Stock/Mods, Sorry I like stock So far I've tested Airbus Kerbin, needed docking port & RCS added. Looks, while her shape is nice all those extra fins are a little ugly 2 Practicality, 1 orbit, 0 While it can dock with the amount of fuel left over I had to add the docking port and RCS to the file, 0 for extra as its only a ferry, lots of potential if you can add maybe a nuke rocket to do Mun trips. Ability, 1 It fly’s well on the way up but landing can be touch heavy. 1 It can carry a lot of passengers to orbit enough to fill up a colonizer Stock/Mods, 1 2, 1, 2, 1 - 6 Heavy SSTO, it took a while but made orbit looking forward to docking looks, 1 Sorry but she is Ugly but Art is in the eye of the beholder ïÂÅ Practicality, 1 orbit 1 for docking, & 1 for extra - had a good amount of left over Dv perhaps enough for a forgiving re-entry Ability, 3 Flight was easy responsive simpleïÂÅ . A surprisingly agile craft that forgiving all-round good flying experience landing was easy and short. As a craft that claims to be an easy station ferry it lives up to the reputation and surprises your expectations. Stock/Mods, 1 1, 3, 3, 1 - 8 Mun_shuttle12345, Sorry Dude must be a FAR thing but this baby just would not make orbit. I tried many times but...it’s to tail heavy and slow even getting off the runway was a challenge highest alt was 13000m pity as I really liked the tail design. Looks, 1 while puggy at the front I liked the tail design and was looking forward to see how it would handle docking. Practicality, 0 – Highest alt was 13000m I tested in stock game not FAR Ability, 0 Stock/Mods, 1 1, 0, 0, 1 - 2 Loon 3 UL 3.7 No MJ, Wow the little bird that could, Looks, 2 it looks like a plane, it fly’s like a plane, and it’s a plane -1 as it’s a bi-plane Practicality, 2 Gets to orbit without too much of a fight and once there can go almost anywhere if you have enough time on your hands. -1 Docking, As it needed to lose the pod before it could dock I took this point off. I know on a long Jool solo mission the pod and plane would linkup for big trip but the slow speed of pod plus plane made this really impossible to sit through so I added an extra bit or 2, a simple dock on the under-fuselage and that worked well. ïÂÅ Ability, 2 While it fly’s well and handles x3 time warp with the pod attached it can’t fly correctly without it this made landing ….Taxing… and explosive, landing with pod is easy, without, leaves you falling not flying Stock/Mods, 1 2, 2, 2, 1 – 7 I liked the potential so much I had to have a crack at improving it () SSTO One, Looks awesome Looks, 3 it’s so fancy Practicality, 2 It fly’s well considering it has no canards still very controllable it makes orbit in a nice time and docking is a breeze with RCS in just the right place to make docking from the cockpit fun ïÂÅ landing is light and simple on even 0 thrust – 1 because other than joyride’s this little beauty has no other purpose ïÂÅ’ Ability, 2 As a joyrider’s pleasure craft this ship excels but falls short if only for the need to maintain control of the stick, no simple set and forget with this baby. Stock/Mods, 1 3, 2, 2, 1 - 7 Alrai SSTO+VTOL, This one surprised me not only for the 3 turbojets in the centre line but for how smooth it all went. Nice place handles well VTOL is a good touch. looks, 2 A Sleek and nicely finished design, I was worried about the docking but this turned out to be un-necessary Practicality, 1 Orbit was easy. 1 Docking quick but RCS could be placed better, Ability, 2 It Fly’s well and can be recovered from a spin without to much hassle it does the job of 3man crew transfers and dose so with style. Stock/Mods, 1 2, 2, 2, 1 - 7 ODIN - Robin, What a little bullet. I got distracted doing vertical rolls I didn't realise I was already at 20000m lol. Robin is a speed demon to orbit Looks, 3 Hubba Hubba this little demon is so the F1 of the sky’s Practicality, 1 it’s easy to make orbit it this… to easy. 1 Docking is like a pleasure as its fast and responsive even on RCS Unfortunately there is not much else to this pocket rocket. Ability, 3 it Fly’s like an redbull aero racer and handles like them to, it makes orbit in a flash and can take u anywhere on Kerbin in no-time at all Stock/Mods, 1 3, 2, 3, 1 - 9 Astro-Cruiser B, I went with B As I could not tell the difference between A,BorC Looks, 2 I like it, big yet not to big, sleek yet sturdy Practicality, 1 Orbit took an age…. But it did make it. 0 To be fare I know this craft was not ment to dock its meant to go somewhere far far away ïÂÅ . 1 For the far far away part. Ability, 3 While large for a 2man SSTO this craft handled well and is forgiving, slow(due to weight) but the wait is worth it as the choice of destination is large for this one Landing and docking (once port was added ) where simple as the craft has been expertly put together and balanced. Stock/Mods, 1 2, 2, 3, 1 - 8 Docking tests: Looking forward to testing as many as I can so I can give every craft the same looksee.
  6. Really loving the rescue missions. I setup a station just for them I like it seems everyone else just wish there was more challenge to them. I hope one day perhaps the next update it will have expanded to all sorts of orbits and locations maybe even to asteroids that would be cool
  7. Hi Jr I'm glad to say I finally got time to check out the Sun Star and cyclops Decided to weponise then, hope u dont mind. Also added more rokets for a greater speed to help attain orbit on sunstar. Added my Roger rescue for size comapare and decided they needed a paint job One of the mods I like more then mechjeb Kerb Paint. Mad looking craft Jr. Now I just need to refuel and send them out I think I'll see if i can get cyclops to laythe and sun star to duna. I love the Sun star as it reminds me so much of Homeworld 2 and the Pride of Higara

  11. A taxi Challange ? I like it but just one I cant as I like to have lots of ways to get my crews from a to b From Kebin to station Crew 12 but you can add more chairs Between stations Blue ship attached, crew 15 - more a "jolly rodger" craft then mine. I'm yet to use as a mun base transport as I want to make a new base just for it. It just looked so cool I had to make one of my own yesturday. so I wont pertend to add it as an entry but it dose look pritty in blue. At the momnet most my outpost crew use this 2man and do Jool crew swaps with these little things for fun orbit rescue I use To get crew to and from Laythe crew 3 but can add lots of seats and 3man from Eve is this Oh and all can land on kerbin if thats what u wanted to do with them
  12. I've been to all but the sun and Jool well I've fallen into them more times then I wished. Still yet to get anyone off my tylo outposts / tried but failed. would love if squad could add more like .... oh another star that would so be awesome true intersteller stuff.
  13. Which is better???? Well …. Android and Galaxy all the way. 1. Simple data transfer and control - Apple locks up and hide's all you stuff and doesn’t let you share it with anyone that doesn’t also have a mac, at least not easily - Backups - I had to google the hell out of that to find where old iPad backups are really at. Then there’s there "Join Us" cult like marketing. 2. Parts. Did you know Apple is one of if not the biggest customer of Samsung? 3. ITunes = Money on top of that spent of the device on movies etc. And yes I know play store is even worse with its rental bull But and this is a big But you can go anywhere else without worrying about apple combat ability. 3. Freedom to change - If I get bored with my galaxy and HTC makes something truly jaw dropping then I just go and get it and all my stuff comes with me I just copy paste for the most part. But apple Oh no other then basic stuff if you leave the cult of apple there are consequences, no your only real choice is to upgrade to a new apple or suffer. I own ( at least I pay the bills for ) IPad 4 IPhone 5S IPhone 4S & Galaxy 5 & Sony Experia thingy and go through the whole upgrade thing almost yearly and have had good and bad from both but overall I feel the Galaxy to be the superior option for me able to withstand a good impact without damage many a time and now its waterproof OMG Apple have got what … there posh brand appeal oh there we were first or were great attitude mm Yes the are pretty, yes they are simple to understand for most Basic functions, yes they hold their value longer BUT there not the best. And that ladies and gentlemen is my My 2cents .....Cough… Hopes of soap box

  15. Love the curved passageways JR I think I'll definetly try to incorporate them into my next mun base I might not have anything to offer in terms of size and complexity as I instead went for QTY .You have inspired my to start a serious expansion of my outposts
  16. What its coming back I've spent manmany hours on both H1 & H2 and loved them both best part of 1 that never made it to 2 was the salvage of enemy craft. I loved going into a multi and steeling an enemy fleet just to use it against them Best parts of both game enginces was the true 3D aspect of battle, moving unit all around i.e above and below your enemy to leave them with no escape.... except hyper jump which was awesome Really looking forward to the HD remake although not sure if I want another copy of a game i already have but will most likely get it anyway just to see if they made it better. Here's hoping its nothing like duke nukem forever and aliens: colonial marines etc

Zombie plan A Find WMD and set off then kiss but goodbye Plan B Get to local defence base and procure machine gun Secure parimater and buildings Horde all useable rescorces, setup WMD for revert to plan A should Zombies get in then attempt communication with outside world Keeping plan A ready incase of boredom
  18. So you like large builds...mmm... Have you tried a collonizing tour. 1 launch with enough smaller craft attached to fit out a complete outpost or 2 and do it for somwhewre hard like Tylo with an easy side version for maybe Bob or Pol. With extra brownie points for extra outposts Include Outpost habitate, rover and return craft and remember the hard part is the single launch
  19. I think is has it's niche to fill I tend to use it as something different on station's and SSTO's. It works well enough to be used as a docking port for small carft like station solar array's And yes it needs to have its weight reduced of mono added to it to explain for the extra mass but I like it as it's yet another stock part with animation to it.
  20. I sent Jeb & 2 others to collect surface samples stored at the Minmus station and swap some crew. Got him there and then took 1/2 the fuel from the station to get him back so had to also send out a tug with a fuel cell for it. I'm enjoying the new purpose for having stations
