Yes, a derelict alien ship created and placed on a planet would only require adding the ship as a part, or craft file if default parts were used to create it, and the save file. (I think) That would be incredibly cool!! I am going to be watching this mods progress!

Yes, I think you are right to move Amie-Thistle. I have done many planet missions and enjoy most planets and moons that I land on. I usually take a rover to get as much out of the mission as possible. Another Europa type planet like Floorite would be cool, or an incredibly cratered planet like Pock, but it is probably more difficult to create... This is a pic from a Pock mission. Yes, definitely! But I think you are right it should be a separate system. People with good computers can run them both at the same time.
