No worries, it's really a matter of whether KSPI or NFT want that.

MKS converts from biomass. But then the question is where biomass comes from Also depends on whether you care about closed loop, conservation of mass, etc. Side note - are your Kerbals actual Kerbals or are they abstracted? This is the important bit
-
I don't understand the relevance or what you are asking, to be honest. If you're using CRP you will have LqdHydrogen anyway. If you are not using CRP and rocking your own thing, then it's a moot point for this thread, other than to keep consistent (same way CRP keeps consistent with EL and TAC-LS to be neighborly). - - - Updated - - - And thanks Nertea - will take a look
-
No converter exists tho I expect someone could make one, tho that's not the scope of CRP (it's just a clearing house for resource configurations and Regolith map data).

parts [1.12.x] Karbonite/Karbonite Plus (K+)
RoverDude replied to RoverDude's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It should be irrelevant for both of them given the sun has no atmosphere -
Because one is a naturally occurring gas, and one is a fuel. LqdOxygen is completely different and with different use cases than Oxygen. (Edit) Nertea/FreeThinker - no word from the BioMass guys, so let's drop those off for now. I'll keep the BioMass resource in sync as a USI one and just use their new density.

[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)

@Helaeon - when you're ready toss me that pull request for the alternate drive mode. Reason being, I'm going through the whole constellation right now and I'd hate to have a merge conflict down the road.- 1,694 replies

Familiar with it, but I'm fairly careful with external dependencies. -
[1.12.x] Freight Transport Technologies [v0.6.0]

As I said... I have no control over KSP fuel flow rules. Also be careful of ships where you have heavy bits connected to light bits. -
[1.12.x] Freight Transport Technologies [v0.6.0]

That's very likely just an issue with stock KSP fuel flow and flow mode rules. I believe LH is stage priority flow -
[1.12.x] Freight Transport Technologies [v0.6.0]

It's a mass difference issue - I have plans to fix that. And yes, I read GitHub daily. And as I've warned folks for the past month or so - I am up to my armpits helping with 1.0, making some spectacularly cool things for everyone. Also note that a github issue is by no stretch of the imagination a commitment, it just means I'll look at it and possibly consider it. -
..you guys did see the pic from last week showing the ISRU module right? I would not be using the word 'tiny'
-
Well, I hear the same guy is writing it Actually (and speaking purely from a more general standpoint, not in relation to stock as that's still being sorted) it does matter. There's a point where the numbers are so low, it just is not worth it. Case in point would be Karbonite where you could have some pretty dismal spots. Granted, at the end of the day, you could leave a ship landed with an array of gigantors and let it sit for 100 years to get enough fuel to get to orbit. But odds are you're going to be looking for something at least in the range of 'acceptable'. Especially if you have other constraints like contract expirations, life support, a burning desire to get that sweet sweet science back to Kerbin, or rep loss because you're time warping for aforementioned 100 years. Not to mention resource generation costs themselves - solar is not free, it represents payload mass, and if you have to carry over a ton of solar panels vs. being able to live off of the land, this has an impact. And as noted - regardless of where stock lands (depletable, not depletable, everywhere, almost nowhere, etc.) stuff will be open for configuration. Because odds are good that if you feel strongly about how resources should work in stock, there's someone next to you with precisely the opposite opinion (speaking from experience, since all of these discussions came up when Karbonite launched). And the best bit is that both of you are right.
-
Good thing it will be incredibly moddable That way if the stock experience is not what you like (I for one think it's pretty awesome), then you or your favorite modders can take the lego bricks and rearrange them to something better for your own playstyle.
